One of my favorite things to do on inforoo is wait for someone to insult Phyre Fest in a post and then guess how long it will be before Dave Maynar likes it. I usually guess one minute and am always off by about 58 seconds.

Just to clarify, I like the lineup, but I am only going because of the potential of me being in LA already at that time. I wouldn't fly out special for it.

It's really not bad. I'm not a huge fan of Frank Ocean but I can see why he'd be a headliner. I'm just used to these mind-blowing FYF line up's and this really didn't do it for me. That said, I'm sure I could fill two days worth of bands to see.

I'm on the fence, but only because my bridal shower is Saturday and I wouldn't be able to make it to the fest until Saturday evening... Unfortunately two of my biggest draws (Deerhunter and Savages) are on Saturday, and the schedule could really fuck me on seeing them.
Decisionsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, they are a bitch.
I actually love the lineup. Savages, death grips, deerhunter, run the jewels, dinosaur jr, spiritualized, the Jesus and Mary chain, Mac demarco, Metz, FKA twigs, d'angelo, neon Indian, purity ring, thee oh sees, battles, frank ocean, Laura marling, tennis, solange, cold cave, and bloc party. That's plenty for me to see in 2 days.
Really looking forward to death grips, savages, spiritualized, and JAMC

That's not including everyone, only the ones that id want to check out. Can't imagine a better two day lineup that I've ever seen. Diverse and the best EDM/house for such a small fest.

Got Cody his ticket, but still not sure if I should pull the trigger on mine yet. Savages is the only act I haven't seen before that I'm really excited about on the lineup, and I could totally miss seeing them even if I do go.

I know none of you are going to this fest, but Kanye West just replaced Frank Ocean as the Saturday headliner.

Frank Ocean has decided on his own terms to cancel his appearance; due to this change, Kanye West will now headline Saturday night's Main Stage.
With a lineup that already includes Morrissey, D’Angelo and the Vanguard, FKA Twigs, Chet Faker, Flume, Belle & Sebastian and more, FYF Fest is excited to have Kanye West play this weekend in his newly adopted home of Los Angeles.
