That was everything on the list. They didn't say there were more to be announced or whatever. However, give me What So Not and Jack U for the same price. Really.
$32.15 for Jack U, Jauz, What So Not, and more TBA in Philly. Kinda pissed now that I paid $150 for Jack U NYE floor tickets in hindsight as much fun as that was. I'm very happy with my lineup so far.
I got around to watching that show a few weeks ago, and it was way better than I thought it would be. I mean, yeah, there was fluff, but it was better than what I expected.

Well they had 8 I think last year so I hope they add a few more but yea I'd pay $40 just to see Skrillex. Only caught the last 10 min of makonnen at BUKU too so a chance to see a full set would be nice as well.

Look at it this way. The Jack U MSG had good supporting acts. Lots of Video boards which I don't think the Mad Decent Block Party will support. You got tons of confetti in your bum. You partied in MSG on NEW YEARS DAY! Honestly I only paid $70 for floor seats so either you got ripped off or there was someone else with you.
NYE is becoming quite the electronica dance holiday. All 3 of My kids all went to Decadence Colorado to see Bassnectar and Big Grizmatik. One of their gf's went to Bassnectar 360. Jack U played msg, Flosstradamus did a big time L.A. Show which is probably the best one I saw on YouTube

Face value was 150, and they were around 270 the day of so I have no idea how you snagged them for 70
NOLA day cancelled due to "unforeseen issues'". I'm not sure if it was ticket sales or the change of venue. I was looking forward to seeing Skrillex again after the great show at Hangout, but I didn't much know or care about anyone else.

Finally caved and bought my ticket for Thursday in philly. Personally I like the Friday lineup better but I can't miss out on Jack Ü. Anyone seen porter's DJ set? Any good? I'm mostly excited for jack U, floss, Jauz, and what so not.

Jack U was fun as shit at Hangout. That entire set is on YouTube with video, but the audio is better. I've seen Porter 2x - the first time was in 2013 at Hangout when he did a dub set which I thought was great. Then we saw him this year at Buku doing his new project for Worlds. While the music itself isn't my favorite type of Porter or EDM (90 something bpm, so much slower than typical), it's more refined than a lot of that stuff. The visuals with the Worlds Tour were awesome, and live it was definitely better and more energetic than what the album sounds like. You should be able to find a bunch of that show on YouTube, and I'm assuming he's still playing that set.

It's MDBP. Porter will gear his set to be more "dope" and to fit the vibe of the type of trap/house music these dj's and hip hop guys play. He will most likely stay away from a lot of his Worlds stuff, probably some cool remixes of a few heavy songs from the album. Expect a more "Spitfire" and "Language" Porter.

See you there. Saw Jack U at MSG this past New Year's Eve, trust me when I say you made the right choice. Jauz, Ilovemakonnen, Flosstradamus, Porter, Swizzymack, and What So Not are all great acts as well, I think Thursday > Friday by a mile.

Went yesterday in Philly...such a great time. The crowd is definitely young and rowdy but I'm 19 so it was pretty fun to mosh and whatnot. But Porter was surprisingly good, and of course Jack Ü was everything I could have hoped for. Can't wait until next year.
What exactly do you consider moshing? Because if it is what I'm thinking of I'll be passing on this tour.
It's not like the entire Primus crowd at Woodstock or punk rock days when it was referred to as slamming/slam dancing per se'. But it's kind of like that. People will still circle dance or stand around and bash each other without malicious intent. I don't think he was talking about your typical Hatebreed Fan who stands stationary throwing punches and kicks to appear "hard". It's more the fun variety with some crowd surfing and is generally isolated to pieces parts of the crowds at EDM shows. JMO

Yeah, that's essentially it. It's nothing crazy, and if that's not for you then it is very easy to take a few steps back, have some room, and still a good view.

I'm about 6'4" 220 and I still don't enjoy those to be honest. I enjoyed from Porter on. The line was absurd getting in, however. Got in line when Jauz started and got in after What So Not.

We got in at like the exact same time. I was pretty pissed I missed Jauz. They really need to do something about the massive line/line-cutting.
