Hey everyone! I just found out that FEMA is auctioning off used surplus travel trailers. If you have been looking to purchase an RV or trailer to use at Bonnaroo but found that prices are too high, this may be the answer you have been looking for.
These trailers were used to house displaced victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and now that those families have found permanent housing they are being auctioned by the government. For cheap. You must check out the details, terms and conditions on the auction website as they can be complicated. Also some of the trailers for sale are in less than pristine condition: buyer beware!
So anyway I just wanted to share this information in the hopes that it could help at least some of you.
there is another thread around here already with all this - I was looking at it earlier but cannot find it now edited to add - someone please tell me I am not crazy and that there really is another post that has the web address for the FEMA trailers
