Actually I believe you both have missed the point, my OP points out one, however serious flaw, in the VIP experience this year over past years.... you guys are just trolling to troll and I'm certain any logical person would read this thread and agree.
Obviously the logical person doesn't agree or everyone that is reading this wouldn't be posting in agreement. Your argument about quantity in VIP is flawed. I have been to tons of festivals have done both GA and VIP. You can't be upset because you aren't getting the same amount from previous years. Festivals change EVERY year. All festivals make changes. Sometimes for the better sometimes for the worse. You are still seeing all the artists you want to see, you still get pimp camping and other VIP perks. Time to move on, your argument is invalid.
Thank you now you are all making post that support my original post... you cant just call me a brat and tell me to fuck off with out me defending the thread... your the first person to give actual examples of how my line of thinking might be flawed.. thank you...my only point is that there was a price hike and a 30% reduction in entertainment for VIP.. I want posts about that.
Just so you know people who disagree are more likely to post than those who do...just rule of thumb for life.
You need to give this up, you're looking more ridiculous with every post.
You're wrong, accept it and get over it.
There is no right or wrong?? this is a discussion about a fact... some people want to make it about my opinions.. heres a fact ...there was a price hike... and a 30% reduction in entertainment for a stage that has a major VIP perk... now talk about it.

Ok.
You're an idiot. Done talking about it.
Or the long version.
1. There was a price hike for everyone, not just VIP. 2. This 30% number you keep throwing around. Were you planning on camping the Which stage all day every day, no matter who was playing on it? 3. You bought your tickets 2 days ago, knowing the schedule would be out in a less then a few weeks. You could have simply waited, and then decided. 4. Screw this, back to the short version. You're an idiot, I'm done.

Or they just read your ignorance and keep going. Also, some like to just read the drama. I post too much. I tried to ignore your posts, but finally couldn't. It boils down to the fact that the whole lineup is weaker this year. So to be butt-ass hurt over losing your UP TO 30% (you said early 3-5 less on the main stage) is really pointless and childish. You knew that the schedule would be lighter due to the already announced lineup, and you decided to buy your tickets before the day-by-day cubes were announced. That is your mistake. You can't get mad that the festival lightened those stages when they have a lighter schedule. Maybe you should have considered what was announced and looked at the mock schedule pages before buying. IDK. Maybe think about the fact that you are getting perks for VIP, you are still getting main stage special viewing area for the shows that are there that you want to see and that you are the one that decided to purchase VIP. It was your call. Bonnaroo didn't make you buy VIP.
EDIT: and to point out the fact that everyone already has... EVERYONE HAD TO PAY MORE DUE TO THE PRICE HIKE!!

Your argument would be completely validated if bonnaroo did the same thing every year, but it doesn't and no one ever told you it would. You told yourself twenty shows on which for a percentage of the years roo has existed means that you're getting twenty shows on which this year. I can't believe I'm defending the big guy, but you're a moron if you assumed anything beyond what is written in simple wording on the perks of VIP page. Do you not understand that the mistake here is your assumption of the circumstances of the event, which you are blaming on the festival organizers (who never told you to make such assumptions)
I can dig that you're butt hurt, in the early days of VIP they had a much more catered approach that simply doesn't exist anymore. You're making the wrong argument, and the finger is pointed in the wrong direction. You aren't being logical, you're being emotional. If you were being logical, this thread would have been locked two pages ago or not existed at all.

Did you just mean to repeat what everyone else has wrongfully posted in this thread?? I don't give a shit that GA had to pay more too I'm asking if anyone in VIP feels the same way I do...which is a yes or no statement.... with an idea to support that conclusion but the Trolls of inforoo wanted to, surprise surprise make another thread personal... that being said I love bonnaroo and will be attending this year.. I just need someone to justify my purchase of VIP tickets under the guidelines of my original post...or if not I will sell my tickets and pick up GA tickets... this is a thread asking for advice that the moderators have woefully ignored....good job on that positivity guys.

Well then all of the threads shouldn't exist by that logic.. Bonnaroo doesn't release its plans before hand, all of the threads are assumptions and speculations... but I make a thread with solid statistics over a fact (the schedule) and you guys just assume its just me bad mouthing the organization??... re-read the OP.
And OP, there are actually quite a few VIP'ers that have chimed in against you as well. You keep trying to make this look like "GA trolls" are hating on VIP. Couldn't be further from the truth. People are hating on your belligerent non-sense.

There is no against me..lol.. I just wanted to know if anyone in VIP felt the same way... and you have all just jumped on my posts to make it personal....lol... this blatant aggressiveness is hysterical
I'm certain any logical person would read this thread and agree.
As a logical person, I recommend selling your VIP tickets, buying GA tickets, and then using that money to upgrade your turntable. You can't call yourself a vinyl enthusiast on Instagram and then take pictures of your records on a Crosley suitcase record player.
I think I'll quote this pretentious fuck once more... people like this are the reason the music industry is failing... you just assume that since your collection is better and because you where at a festival first that every generation behind you is wrong and should quit while there ahead....by that logic no one will buy records or attend concerts... you represent everything bonnaroo doesn't stand for in this comment....
You might think that because I made this thread that I'm the one ruining music, but all I wanted is open discussion between VIPers on potential things that might happen for us as a result of fewer shows...maybe show times run longer, or the pre party is going to be the best this year......these are the posts i'm looking for... all I've said was I was disappointed about this, does anyone else feel that way....and then you and your asshole friends came along.

Only one person can justify your ticket purchase, and that's you. I'm not trolling or attacking, I'm stating facts. Not even opinions. It's personal because it's about your decision, it's not personal to me I'm happy with my ticket purchase. I feel justified in what I spent and what I'm getting. You talk about logic, then use some. this is why everyone is repeating each other. They're telling you facts. You aren't guaranteed anything. Festivals change year to year. The lineup is lighter. These are facts. Do you feel your VIP was worth it? Do you feel justified? Nobody can answer that for you.
