So we finally bought tickets this week and are doing VIP. Only problem is that we can't arrive until Friday morning. Will that drastically affect our camping spot? We're looking to arrive from St. Louis early morning, like 10am. We haven't been to roo since 08, last time we did VIP we arrived Thursday and had a nice spot, almost too close I'd say to the main stage (the Kanye set was not conducive to sleep at all
Arriving Friday morning should not be a problem. My guess is that you will end up camping closer to the VIP Tollbooths, further away from the stage. But as you know, anywhere in VIP is close and you will most likely be camped by the bathrooms in the back.

Thanks a lot. At this point, we're just glad to be returning. It would take a letdown of epic proportions to bum us out.

You'll be fine. I've done VIP the last couple years, and I see cars rolling in as late as Sunday. The later you arrive, the further to the back left corner they seem to put you (near the showers/restrooms), but you're still a 5 minute walk away from centeroo.
Either way, you'll still be woken up by the What Stage sound check at 8 in the morning.
