I have created a myspace page for all y'all Texans who are headed to Bonnaroo, or just simply want to keep up with gatherings at shows in your respective towns, parties, etc.
It's a work in progress right now, but I just wanted to get the word out!

hey i noticed you're not getting any responses... I just figured I'd let you know that I'm a born and raised Texan now living in Chattanooga and this year will be my first Bonnaroo experience
lol. everyone thinks i'm crazy when i tell this story but one time when i was driving back home from school one day i seriously saw a guy in a bright orange jumpsuit walking down the street and then there were two cop cars on the next road. maybe it wasn't what it looked like but it scared the crap outta me
There was a prison break a couple of months ago, state troopers, sheriffs, and HPD were EVERYWHERE on I-45. I think there might be 6000-8000 inmates in the Huntsville area, what a great demographic! Luckily I live about 15 miles north of town so I'm out in the country.
I went to UT for 3 semesters, but had a little bit too much fun for my own good. Austin was amazing though, I'd love to go back to UT for grad school.
that's scary stuff man. when i was in huntsville i unknowingly lived in some apts a little to far away from campus so i was surrounded by natives and ex-cons. crazy combo.

nshvllbound and i were thinking we(at least the austin peeps) would head up to dallas, then cut across. i've driven to north carolina and back twice, and from NYC and back once. there isn't really a shortcut from the austin/houston area that is any faster than just taking major highways the whole way.

I would be totally down with traveling in a Texas caravan. However, my plan is to go to Nashville/Murfreesboro/Antioch/somewhere along I-24 on Wednesday, spend the night there, then head south early Thursday morning.
