Clean bathrooms are 1-5 on my list of VIP perks. Honestly, for me, the bathrooms are worth the cost of the ticket. I was thinking of going back to GA to save money this year, and my desire to not use Porta Potties kept me in VIP. I also like the ice cream.
My favorite part is the side entrance by other. It's a sneaky little bastard that will efficiently get you from the other to what in a breeze.
Last year was my first VIP and I had no idea about this! Please share your secret!
Special thanks to I think patoirish for passing this along last year. By the Other, stage left I believe, there is a row of porto's. Between the Porto's and the stage is a narrow exit, which only allows VIP+ in and out (I often stood in the 2 or 3 person line w photographers).
It makes it much easier to dodge the congestion when quickly attempting to get from What field to the Other.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

Absolutely! I'd think the best approach would be Set up camp have a beer / break bread with the sparklefarts Pay Homage to the VIP stalls (my approach is to place a small packet of flush wipes on each counter top of the stalls) find secret entrance

Just to be clear, you are not talking about the path that goes along side the VIP campground around the perimeter of the What stage field.
I am not referencing an entrance into What in any capacity, I'm referencing a very small entrance closer to the ferris wheel, tents, and non arch GA entrance.

As for my own favorite perk, it has to be a combination of the close proximity to Centeroo (The first two years I went in 2006-07 we were camped way back in BFE on Wednesday night) and the quick car entry to the VIP campground on Thursday.

Just so everyone knows, the "secret" entrance is by the Other Tent but Tainted Opossum and I bickering about what side it is on, because corn.

Ive always camped in the GA RV area and the closest entrance that I used all the time was the non-arch entrance near the clock tower and the other tent. If you exit from there you can walk the perimiter of centeroo towards what field and arch entrance. Its a longer walk to get there but probably a lot faster than having to walk through the crowds. Is this what you are talking about?

yes, except its not the GA entrance - it's a narrow entrance manned by someone with a folding chair, as I recall the size of a doorway and not much more. This non GA entrance is near said GA entrance, and near Other. Which side of Other is still up for debate, as I think it's stage left and hipvelmrz believes it is stage right.

The main thing I want to do on thursday first(besides meet you all and have a beer or two) was to explore and find where and how to use all the VIP area's. Primarily which pit. I want to know where these spots are ahead of time before I want to use them. Veteran VIP'ers experience would make this very easy.

I am about 99% sure where this entrance is... On the linked picture, there is a small tent (maybe 8x8) to the right of the ferris wheel and to the left of GA entrance...
