Serious? While I'm glad to see Asheville Brewing Company is representin this year, half of these are available in gas stations in many states (including Tennessee)... Can we please get options that are "new" and "special" for the majority of Bonnaroovians? How about a little creativity/balls? Seriously- why are Angry Orchard, Sierra Nevada, Harpoon, Sweetwater, and Blue Moon even options? How about invitations to microbreweries that barely get exposure outside of their hometown? Btw- I'm not hating on these brands (i enjoy at least one variety from each brewer I just listed), just frustrated at the how mainstream and lazy this list is...

Volume may be a factor - many true microbreweries simply don't have the capacity.

Agreed for many of the super small ones, but there are plenty of breweries between those teeny tiny sized ones and the mass produced and marketed Angry Orchard. Honestly I think seeing Angry Orchard and Sierra Nevada (even though I love their Pale Ale and Torpedo varieties) just put me over the top and made me want to rant... I know Roo has been going more and more mainstream the past few years, but I was hoping the Broo'ers Festival would be the exception.
Lagunitas rules that list. I've had about half on there so I look forward to trying the rest.
Have any of you had any Ballast Point stuff? Very good beer and they make my favorite IPA by a landslide, Sculpin... It's fucking delicious. I think California not only produces the best wine in the country but the beer is also up there.

Northeastern Ohio wine is severely underrated and I will now be bringing a bunch of bottles to brunch because of this comment.

Green Flash is right up there. I actually perfect their IPA's over Lagunitas.

And I'll be happy to drink it
Actually I was just in Ohio a few weeks ago and went to 3 wineries. From what I remember they all had a few good ones.

I think I might have had Green Flash before. Sometimes it's hard to keep up at beerfests. It does sound familiar, though. As far as Lagunita's goes, I love their little sumpin' sumpin'. Their IPA is decent and I think their IPA Maximus is better.
if any of you make it out to Chicago i highly recommend Revolution Brewery. They have a nice selection and if you're an IPA guy their AntiHero IPA is pretty good.

The local breweries here in Louisiana are stepping up their canning game. I'll have Abita strawberry and purple haze for sure, I know parish has started canning their rebirth pale ale, checking out more this weekend. I'll have a variety at brunch...

Has anyone had Jackie O's from Athens, Ohio? (Яun The Яoo?)
Anyway, they make an incredible raspberry wheat beer called Razz Wheat. I will be bringing several six packs if anyone cares to make some trades for their own local brews.

I actually went to school at OU, so I'm very familiar with Jackie O's! I feel like it is the best brewery in the state...and I'm a beer snob (homebrewer and all).
Razz Wheat isn't my favorite, but my friends love it! If you like raspberries, you'll love it too.
Not sure what I'm bringing yet, but I'll have some goods!

Doing some looking into canned local brews, don't know how I wasn't aware of this already, but Tin Roof only sells its brews in cans, and next month is their seasonal watermelon... I added them all to the list anyway, but I might have to bring extra of this one
My list currently stands at this: Nola: Rebirth pale ale Blonde Hopitoulas Abita: strawberry Purple haze Seersucker Amber Jockamo ipa Tin Roof: Juke joint IPA Turnrow Blonde Perfect tin Voodoo Bengal Watermelon wheat

Avoid Leinenkugels, they don't make very good beer anymore. Their Big Eddy line is really good but is made in pretty limited runs so it probably won't be there. They will most likely feature their line of bottled gut rot.
