Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It has at long last come down to this. The match up we suspected would happen is here but will it be the result we all anticipate? I'd like to thank everyone for their participation this year and also encourage any feedback/criticism about how things could be improved in years to come. So without further ado I present you with the Championship Round for the 2015 Festival Madness: 4-My Morning Jacket vs. 1-Paul McCartney. I'd say MMJ has had a much more challenging trip to make it here, but while Paul McCartney hasn't had to face so many difficult opponents, he's won every round so handily it is hard to imagine that momentum to be slowed here either. Good luck to both of them!
Round 6 credentials
4-My Morning Jacket: Headlining Governor's Ball. Also appearing at Bonnaroo, Boston Calling, Forecastle & Hangout. Defeated Brand New, Robert Plant, Elton John, Snoop Dogg, and The Who to advance. 1-Paul McCartney: Headlining Firefly. Defeated Houndmouth, Pretty Lights, Beck, Jack White, and Modest Mouse to advance.

Jacket, baby! If I could choose between seeing MMJ or McCartney three nights in a row at Red Rocks with no repeats in the fan picked setlists, I'd pick Jacket easy. Of course festivals are different and it's all about the quality of the one night. Still, having seen both acts in a festival setting already, I know MMJ would bring something new and not the same show with fireworks for Live And Let Die.

Round 5 observations:
One out of two #1 seeds advance again: The Who is out but Paul McCartney moves through to the Championship. Our only remaining #4 seed advanced again: My Morning Jacket will represent Region 2 in final round. The last #7 seed has been eliminated: Modest Mouse was the lowest seed to win their Region but won't be appearing in final contest.
None of the 28 undercard competitors remain.
1-The Who vs. 4-My Morning Jacket was fairly close being won by 8 points. 1-Paul McCartney vs 7-Modest Mouse: not so much!
Of the 20 that began, 4-My Morning Jacket was the only Bonnaroo performer in the Final Four and will also serve as sole representative of Bonnaroo in the Final.

Last day to vote and while it seems the outcome is obvious we still are more than 30 voters shy of last round's total participants. Voting ends at 11:30 ET tonight.

But the fireworks for Live and Let Die are spectacular every time. And every time you see Paul McCartney, it's Paul McCartney... I mean, c'mon.

It all seems like a rerun to me, including the stories between songs. I would definitely be at his set were he playing a fest I was at. I wouldn't go out of my way to see him after already having caught his show at two of the best places possible in the US.

Sad thing is I thought we were friends once. It was fun while it lasted.
In all honesty I see what you're saying, I just can't imagine ever picking MMJ, or anyone else, over MACCA. If you gave me tickets to both and they were playing at the same time, I'd choose MACCA. I've seen him 3 times already and will see him again at Lolla, and I'd still pick him every single time. But The Beatles are my favorite band and Paul is my favorite Beatle, so I'm way more than biased.
Paul McCartney wins by a landslide as we pretty much all expected he would. Still it's been a fun distraction these last 10 weeks so want to thank everyone for their participation and look forward to next year when I'm sure we'll tweak things a little bit again to keep it fresh. Less than 4 weeks until Bonnaroo now so time to really begin counting down the days. See you there at the brunch and 'Go Rangers!' in the Stanly Cup playoffs.
