Sorry if this has been covered already. I tried scanning the threads and didn't see anything about it. While I was daydreaming about the farm, counting the days, and killing time at work, I decided to look over the schedule again. I noticed a listing for The Who Stage. This is new, right? I tried searching for a 2015 map but couldn't find one. Anyone know where they are throwing up another stage?
Yeah, I had thought that they had renamed one of the two cafe stages but that can't be right since they are both running on Thursday and you can't access the one at the back of What on Thursday. It must be either the Solar or Sonic stages.
I'm thinking it's the Sonic Stage. They usually promote the Solar stage as being partly (completely?) solar-powered, so I think they'd be more willing to rebrand Sonic. There's a little more space by Sonic too. Also, they're promoting Solar as of a little while ago:
I've enjoyed most of the Sonic stage sets I've seen, so I'm kind of hoping it's a rebranding in name only. Not that it matters a ton what they call it.

If they have turned the Sonic Stage in Who then the small additional sets by stage/tent artists are gone. Presumably the artist signings are also gone. Who is pretty fully scheduled with no room to add the sets that have traditionally been on the Sonic Stage. That also means that they won't have a stage at the back of What by Prater's like they have in previous years.

Agree that it must be Sonic...out of the two Solar is the one that would make more sense to leave out of the schedule at this point. But to not announce acts for the Sonic Stage would be a little odd.
Maybe they just thought Sonic and Solar were confusing names? I know I've had to stop and think about which one was which on occasion.

I finally caught a show there in '13. The Revivalist following Bjork on What. It was packed for that and one of the more energetic shows I saw over the weekend.
My sister had pledged to take me to my first Cafe Where show this year. Damn. Hopefully, they've just rebranded the Sonic to Who and left Where out of it. They still haven't announced the Solar schedule, and that stage should still be around. I also wonder if this means no second/third/acoustic shows by smaller acts. So curious how this all will sort out this year.
