Hey y'all!
I usually hotel at Bonnaroo, since I'm not an avid camper, and I'm coming from Canada, so hauling camping gear isn't really my best bet. But I'm having a hard time finding someone to share a hotel with! So if you're looking to share a hotel room, or you have tent space, please hit me up!
Are you creepy? Do you snore? Are you originally from Florida?
EDIT: How old are you? Are you attracted to chubby men? Do you like to lolz?
Depends on what you mean by "creepy", because maybe. I don't snore. I've been to Florida, I don't think that makes me from Florida. I'm 29. Depends on the man. I have been known to guffaw from time to time.

You were cool till you made me Google the word "guffaw". I can't be around someone smarter than me.

Any suggestions on a camp site guys ? I read something about the AFROPUNK camp site looked interesting.
Eh? I think you can choose Groop (if you join/create a group), Tent Only, or Wherever The Hell They Send You for a camp. Am I misunderstanding the question or have I been doing it wrong?

Just replying makes me feel a bit creepy, but I will have tent space for one, if it comes down to you needing to share a stranger's tent. Not sure yet if I'll be at a site with folks from home or haul my shit up to Tent Only, but either way I will be the only one in a so-called four person tent. I don't snore too bad and have never been convicted of a violent crime. I also don't often fear for my own safety, so what the hell, I've got tent space and shade to spare. I'll probably even have extra beer, but if you eat all my granola bars or you turn out to be a U-of-M Wolverine the shit will hit the fan.
I've stayed in a hotel in Murfreesboro, for under $100 a night. The 35 minute per way commute isn't that fun, but it's much more affordable up there going the hotel route than in Manchester or Tullahoma.

McMinnville sir. $60/night. 20min away.
I've considered this option. My only question is: without a car, how do I get to/from the festival?

I could totally afford $100/night! I worry about getting to/from the festival. The hotel packages offer a shuttle service but they are insanely expensive this year.
I'm a volunteer and will be camping. I'm by myself and I can bring an extra tent and airbed for you, if you would like to join me.
That's so generous of you! I really appreciate the offer! I'm a total camping novice so I'm not quite sure how to survive this. But if it comes down to it, I would be so thankful to take you up on it!
I don't want to start a new thread just to ask one question, and figured I would ask it here.
I haven't been to Roo since 2012, and from 2009 - 2012 I always just stayed in the campgrounds. I'm coming back this year, but I am looking to stay at a nearby hotel. I was hoping someone could give me some pointers on a great place to stay.
I'm coming down with my wife, my three year old son, and my mother. We are going to spend the days together as a family doing family vacation stuff, and then my wife and I will head to Roo in the evening while my mother stays with our son. I'm hoping to find a place that will Shuttle us back and forth to Roo when we need it, so we don't have to bring two cars down. Any recommendations?

I can't help you with the shuttle info, beyond seeing what bonnaroo.com has to say about it.
As far as decent hotels, the best you'll do is Murfreesboro, which is about a half hour drive give or take to Manchester. I typically stay at less expensive but not scary places. I did the Ramada for two years (fine place, friendly staff, decent rooms, but had a smell), then the Baymont, then the Super 8, and I'm doing the Super 8 again this year. Super 8 was my favorite because the rooms are quite nice and there is no funny smell. If you want something above a 2 star hotel there is a Hampton and Holiday Inn, but they are significantly more expensive ($150-200/night I think).
If you do end up driving keep in mind day parking traffic can take a while, 45 minutes to an hour, then there is the walk from day parking to centeroo and the line to get into centeroo. So if there is a set you want to catch, you'll want to leave Murfreesboro at least 2 hours before the set begins, if I'm doing my math right.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
I'll probably be doing groop and have upgraded my tent for this year so I have a smallerish two man tent from last year and a sleeping bag I can loan out if you are interested and want to do groop, just let me know.
