So I have used a sleeping bag the past few years and enjoy it, the main problem is that the bag itself and the tents bottom don't give enough support and make it an uncomfortable sleep, anyone know/use any kind of sleeping pad to put some distance between themselves and the ground? Not using a cot.
This is goin sound crazy but, I was experiencing back pain about 3 years ago. I tossed out my home mattress and have been sleeping on a yoga mat. Doesn't have to be anything fancy. Just double check that there are no tears in the ground layer of your tent. It saved my back and problem of sleeping at home and at fests =D

I now use a fold out cot, sans tent, beneath an EZ Up, but before that I used a cheap air mattress, also sans tent. That always made for a comfortable sleep if I pumped it up every night.
