This year there seems to be alot going on late night at the grove, any speculations on surprise sets? Also I was thinking about hammock camping in the Grove.. Anyone else have any experience with this?
Being the first year of the Grove I don't think any of us really have an idea what to expect. I'd imagine you'll prob be able to crash there in a hammock all night if you'd like. However, with the very valuable shade I have a feeling these hammocks might be quite hard to come by. Sounds like there's going to be a parade that goes from the clock tower to the Grove on Thurs night led by the Kalliope cars, this would prob be your best chance for any type of surprise set out there.
With the Grove being so close to group and access camping I doubt they'll have ragers going out there until sunrise, but who knows.
It sounds like they are trying to up their 'stealth set' game this year, which is nice. It'd be great if they used that as a way to compensate for the loss of the Sonic Stage and had some acoustic sets from some of the more established artists.
Either way, there's going to be a lot to keep track of. Better update my Twitter list...

It would be a cool setting for such things like KEXP does with Pickathon. Now, you've got my hopes up. Damn you, Stefon!
Edit: a quick YouTube search yields that a fuck ton of artists this year have done Pickathon in the past.

I thought about sleeping in the Grove for the shade but thought there might be a lot of other people wanting to do the same and staff might ask us to leave like they did the year the lounge was setup with beanbags and everyone was trying to sleep on them afterhours.

I've never felt like I've needed to keep up with my twitter until this year. I feel like I'm gonna miss out on some cool stuff if I'm not paying attention.

I try to follow a bunch of Inforooers' accounts, the Inforoo one, the Bonnaroo one, artists that I like that are going to be there, etc and then I consolidate them in a list so that they're all in one place. Check out the Twitter Roll Call thread for users and their corresponding handles.

Kalliope is really the last Wednesdayish announcement that we can expect now that we have eliminated Sonic, right?
I think they already announced the Kalliope with the art cars if I remember correctly. But what happened to the Sonic stage? I just kind of figured Sonic became The Who Stage, and that Cafe Where was the one that was eliminated. Did I mess that up?

I don't think that we have a schedule yet for Kalliope. It's not showing on the schedule or in the Art Cars announcement, at least.
We're assuming that the Sonic Stage became the Who Stage and Cafe Where was eliminated. What I was referring to was the absence of the Sonic Stage sets that we were waiting on before we found out that it was dead. Sorry for the confusion!

Yeah, Roo announced that they would be back last month. Just no schedule. So... technically we still have some adds to come, too.
How about we start the rumor Price is play for the 15th anniversary and it actually come true!!!
i'm def doing the parade as long as i can and try to cathc tove lo before she is over. hopefully i can make the two happen. if not i'll have to catch tove lo some other time!
