Hi my name is Sam and I just got the Idea to go to bonnaroo this year. If i order tickets and wristbands it wouldnt be until this coming weekend. I'm worried that i would order them too late and wouldnt get them in time. so my question is; would anyone be selling tickets and wristbands at the gate on thursday morning and how would that work?
yes, they sell them at the gate. There will be scalpers selling them on the way in as well as a box office set up for you to buy.
Believe that they changed the laws in Manchester to prohibit people selling tickets on the roadways so they'll be set up in parking lots and stuff and not on the side of the road now.
New law states that scalpers cannot sell within a certain amount of feet of the venue. I was talking to a scalper the other day and he said that they are only allowed to sell on private property. So there will still probably be guys at gas stations and parking lots.
