Excited that I have secured my first festival contract to shoot this awesome little festival in Georgia. They are looking to achieve a summer camp like feel offering not just music but activities like kickball, swimming, ping pong, kayaking, volleyball, paddleboarding, frisbee, and crafting.
Artists so far include Cold War Kids, Hey Rosetta!, Langhorne Slim, Family and Friends, The Whigs, Roadkill Ghost Choir, Hardy and the Hardknocks, Alanna Royale, Margo and the Pricetags, Brushfire Stankgrass, Nikki Talley, City Mouse, and maybe a few more.
Anyone in Georgia or the surrounding area been to this or planning on going to this?

I looked at it. It's the same weekend as Music Midtown. If Midtown isn't good we may be able to get a group together.

Yea, it is a ways out. Obviously I will be there either way. Hope to see a few familiar faces. Looks like fun.
Someone told me this was organized by the same folks who held a similar camp in PA last year called Campfire festival: www.campfirefestival.com/
I love the idea, but it's farther away (from DC) and I'm not sure I can pull off a weekend during school, especially if it's more than 4 or so hours away.
