New Broken Bells, probably too soon for a return to the farm; but ya never know.
Are they moving into recording LP3 already? Figured they would have gone back to their main gigs of producing and frontin' the Shins
Not entirely sure if this is just an outtake being released or if it is the first single from LP3. They have a special airing on Palladia soon, so this might just be promotion for that.
Danger Mouse is producing the next Adele album. I could be wrong on this but aren't some of the members of Modest Mouse also in The Shins? That could explain why they aren't active.
I know they've all played roo before so its not exactly the most original idea, also thats why i think it might happen, but a deafheaven, baroness, the sword metal tent would be too good to be anywhere else during that
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

The Shins mentioned a few months back on their Instagram that their new album is in the works.
Edit: Joe Plummer has been working with The Shins since 2009 and I know he has also worked with Modest Mouse but I'm not sure if he is part of the current band or not.

James Mercer has also worked with Modest Mouse, I believe including on Strangers to Ourselves.

I'm likely going to be very much in the minority here, but after seeing the kind of guest list Hollywood Vampires pulled for the album and the shows they've done so far (not to mention the core band of Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, Johnny Depp, Duff McKagen, Matt Sorum, and Tommy Henricksen), I really want this for one of our Superjams in 2016. Not going to happen because I think they're only doing a few shows, but Alice was well received in 2012.

After seeing boots last night, I'm expecting him to be on a lot of festival lineups next year. It looks like his label is getting him ready for the big time.
I saw Algiers last night (they were phenomenal) and after the show I talked to their guitarist who said they'd be playing around half a dozen NA festivals in 2016. No word on whether Bonnaroo will be one of them, but Algiers would make for an amazing Thursday set.

Has of Montreal ever been to the farm before? I think I recall them being on the 2009 or 2011 line up or something, but my first Roo was 2012. I know they at least haven't been on since then. What are the odds of them coming to the farm this year? They're one of my favorites and I think they'd make a fantastic late night set - something sort of similar to The Flaming Lips in 2014 (are they big enough for Which?). Their shows are pretty theatrical and I can see that being a lot of fun. Hell, I'd be happy to see them in any time slot on the farm.
They were on the '09 lineup. I bought tickets to see them last month but my now ex flipped and changed his mind about going two hours before the show started.

Oh man! Rough. I saw them last March in Boston for the first time after several years of wanting/trying to see them and failing. It was great! Now I'm seeing in Austin (where I live now) in November. So excited!
