Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Guarantee this girl will be fest hopping next year. Also pretty sure Bonnaroo will miss out on her, given their record with acts along this line of music. Edit: I guess they did book Sylvan Esso this year, so that gives me a bit of hope.
Really wish they'd bring the Lunar Stage back to highlight some of these smaller, quality, electronic acts.

Seriously though, Spiritualized is one of the best, most beautiful shows I've ever been too. I would LOVE to see him again. Honestly, I don't know if he could be better than in the setting I saw him at in Terminal West.
That Terminal West show was epic.
How did his Terminal West set compare to his Shaky Knees set? I saw his SK and was very let down.

I was trippin too hard and freaking out a bit at Panda Bear, so I missed the SK set. But, I can tell you that his show at Terminal was nothing short of breath-taking. I may or may not have cried once or twice during the performance just from the sheer beauty of the show. I am here to testify that Spiritualized is meant to be seen in a tiny, dark room with good lighting and good friends. It was absolutely amazing

The show the next day was not even close to the late night. The late night is one of the best shows I've ever seen. The day show was the same set shortened. But it was missing all of the magic. It was crazy how much of a difference the setting made.
Potential for this band to show up on Thursday night I'd say.
Even though this song is generic terrible garbage compared to their first album and I'm extremely disappointed that after all these years they're deciding to put out overproduced crap.

Woahhhhh, wtf. I would never have guessed that was Givers if the video didn't say so. I'm not a fan of this change either. But, I'd be down to see them in afternoon tent slot on Friday or Saturday at Roo

The more I listen to it, the more I want to hunt down their producer/manager/whoever the hell decided they should neuter their sound, and punch them in the face. Same thing happened with Ra Ra Riot and Milo Greene - the bands forget what made them popular at all in the first place and abandon it to try to hop on that generic, overproduced indie train. Meh.
As unlikely as it is, I would love to see The Dead Weather do a one off at Roo next year. There's no real reason they would other than the fact that they're based in Nashville, but I can dream, can't I?

Dead Weather was a blast when I saw them at House of Blues in '10 or '11. I skipped them at Roo due to the legends they were up against plus they seem like they would be better in a club. I'm down to see them again, I just wish Alison would go back to the black hair. I had a major crush on her. I remember watching a sit down interview with the whole group where Jack calls The Kills a terrible band. She seemed completely caught off gaurd by that.

I really regret skipping out on them when they were touring, and I hope they do some sort of one-off show or something. The stuff they've been putting out for the new album is some of their best yet so it's definitely a shame they're not planning on touring it. Pulling a Daft Punk on us.

Couple of bands I caught at Americanafest that I'd love to see added:
Los Lobos in the classic rock slot. Came in expecting a halfway decent show and left blown away. For a 40 year old band, these guys still have it. Big, bold, and loud. First AMA show I ever left without my hearing.
Fats Kaplin in the "jazzy experimental band that Bonnaroo always books that has 12 people in the tent" slot. Fats played Roo in Jack White's band (he may have played Roo with John Prine's band too. He was in it about that time), so he knows the territory. His stuff is just this really beautiful freeform mashup of about a dozen different genres.
