Of Monsters and Men, Deftones, and various DJs playing a festival in Iceland the weekend after Bonnaroo.
(That festival puts out consistently dope lineups, particularly for anyone interested in good electronic music. Last year they had Zero 7, GusGus, Nightmares on Wax, Detroit Swindle, Leon Vynehall, Daniel Avery, Artwork, KiNK, Moodymann, Skream, TEED, Tale of US and a bunch more.)
Yeah the electronic portion of the lineup is great. Would be a cool festival to check out.

Do you have any recommendations, either from that list or otherwise, of producers along the lines of Leon Vynehall or Daniel Avery? Leon Vynehall is easily the cream of the crop of electronic musicians I've listened to in the past 7 years.

IF they expand this in to the summer, I'd be OK with that.
My most hoped for undercard acts that we don't know and are possible Jeff Lynne's ELO Ryan Adams Vince Staples Joey Bada$$ Doomtree Modest Mouse K-Ci and the Sunshine Band (cause I don't think we are getting Chic) Hall & Oates Coheed & Cambria Father John Misty

Just saw Borns last night and he would be a killer Thursday night show. His opening act Phases was really good too. He hit some festivals last year so I would expect to see him everywhere with the amount of promotion his record company seems to be putting into him.

Totally agree with you on this one. Saw him/them about a month ago. Seemed like the perfect Thursday evening set for Roo.

I have seen Phases before. They opened for someone at the Civc...I can picture the band but for the life of me can't remember who they opened for. Anyway, they were great! I wasn't expecting that.

Immediately I thought "this band needs to open for Chromeo on tour" I just checked out their album (came out this year) on Spotify and I definitely enjoyed it.
A couple of these on the lineup and I would be happy...

The Hold Steady were one of my biggest dream additions, but I'd be thrilled with just Craig Finn. I'm sure he'd mix some Hold Steady in there. No TN date amid all those southern dates is encouraging.

Bolded ones that I too would love to see and figure there's a chance we could get, italicized the ones that almost certainly will NOT be happening (either by way of already announced tour dates or, in the case of Darkside, because they arent currently booking shows at all).
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
