Dammit my hopes for sufjan went up because of Sasquatch. I told myself I wouldn't do this again. I told myself I'd quit you, Sufjan. You just keep pulling me back.
Me too. Him playing Coachella could have just been a one-off, a rare get. But Sasquatch? Now he's officially "playing fests".

Pre-HL What please and thank you.
I'm right there with you guys, of course, letting myself entertain hope on this.... But we have to remember that both of those festivals are out on the West Coast, within a week of each other. :/ They very well may be the only fest dates he does in 2016.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

It's more around a month time difference. That could open up some more possibilities as opposed to your theory that he could just play those two shows.

Once again, I don't know why I do this to myself.
You right you right - I was mixing up May and April in my head, as in thinking they were the same month haha.

I feel like I'd rather have Tame Impala & M83 on the opposite night of LCD. That way, there is guaranteed magic throughout both nights and I don't have to see one as being aggressively more meaningful than the other. Too many potentially painful conflicts to go alongside TI > LCD > M83.

True, but that's just the way I could see it playing out.
I mean, it's not like you have to pull me to go see those three, though.

Agree. I'd even be happy with just TI > LCD or LCD > M83, with the other on a different night

Miike Snow just announced for Columbus at the end of May. I know we already think they would probably be at Roo but the past few years just about every undercard band that is at Roo rolls through Columbus right before or after Bonnaroo.

Good catch. And you're right, a ton of acts make a Columbus stop immediately before 'roo. It happens every single year.

You missed the part where Miike Snow is playing Nashville on May 20th. I think they are as good as out.

I think I've seen that Animal Collective is unlikely due to their Nashville show on 5/6, but if their new music video is any indication of what their tour is going to be like, this is a must see.
𝕤𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕠𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕒 , I see you live in Columbus, OH. Did you get a ticket to their show before it became sold out?
Are you talking about the Floridada video or is there another one now?
the Floridada video. I thought it was released this last weekend but maybe it was earlier and unjust didn't notice.

I did miss that part. I didn't look at all their dates, just got an email saying they would be in town.

Silversun Pickups, Death Grips, Ghostface Killah, Lamb Of God, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Bloc Party, TV on The Radio, Black Lips, Baroness, Ty Segal, Hinds,
Tv on The Radio have no dates announced, they'd play great in the lineup this year. Lamb Of God I believe was under speculation during a Roo clue? That would be awesome. Bloc Party and Silversun Pickups seem like easy choices. But please for Christ' sake get Ty Segal again, I don't care what band he's with.
After Shakey Knees lineup drop I'd love to get Deftones,The Black Angels, and Huey Lewis and the News.
well we aren't.
You obviously haven't heard enough Black Angels then. They were one of the most missed groups at Bonnaroo because when they played in 2011 they went on the same time as Bassnectar, which after seeing the videos, was insanely crowded. I also saw them play in the ford theater that year. Deftones would be one hell of a late night tent act, and Huey Lewis would just be fun 80's that is always needed to fill at least one spot...

uh... walaka didn't doubt that they were good acts, he's just saying we're not getting them.

It's not about not hearing enough about a certain band. It's about Shaky Knees and Bonnaroo having almost zero crossover the past two years.

Yeah, thats true. Thats why I decided to do both last year. Didn't realize it was a trend.
