Tallest Man on Earth is playing Nelsonville Music Fest first weekend of June.
We talked about that a few pages ago But I really really hope he comes to Roo, would make perfect sense travel-wise. I almost went to that fest last year just to see St. Vincent before Roo haha, have you ever been to check it out? Heard it's kinda cool.

If I was closer, I'd be there. Nelsonville Ledges Quarry looks nice and I've been liking the lineups they've thrown together for a small fest. I would have loved to have seen St. Vincent there last year.I didn't catch a single show with her touring behind the material from the last album, which was my favorite of hers.
I think I've seen that Animal Collective is unlikely due to their Nashville show on 5/6, but if their new music video is any indication of what their tour is going to be like, this is a must see.
𝕤𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕠𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕒 , I see you live in Columbus, OH. Did you get a ticket to their show before it became sold out?
Are you talking about the Floridada video or is there another one now?
I just realized that AnCo put out an official video for Floridada last week. So not sure if you're aware of that, or thinking of just the audio that was uploaded to Youtube with just a still pic.
The vid's just ok. Some interesting parts here and there, but overall not as great as their other videos.

Anyone know who is playing Conan on Tuesday? I would imagine there is a significant chance of whatever artist or band would also be playing Bonnaroo. Just a thought.
Mountain Jam lineup has Beck. Two shows up north, could he please come down south? Also Gov't Mule, who I think we should all expect at this point
Not so sure Gov't Mule is a foregone conclusion. Last year Mountain Jam got them doing Darkside of the Mule and I thought for sure that'd be a lock for Roo as well.
Right, I forgot Mountain Jam is pretty much Gov't Mule's festival. I still feel like we'll get either them, or Warren Haynes solo.

Neither did I, which I really regret. My friends and I did a vinyl exchange for Christmas and someone got me that album, I've been jamming to it a lot lately wishing I would have went to her tour.

Nelson Quarry Ledges actually isn't anywhere near Nelsonville. The quarry is in northeast Ohio whereas Nelsonville is in southeast Ohio, near Athens. Nelsonville does have some beautiful scenery though and the folks at NMF put on a fantastic little festival. I went in 2015 and it felt like a little Bonnaroo.

Nelsonville is a very nice little festival. I used to live in Athens and would go every year. It's a little expensive for such a small fest, but it exists to raise money for The Historical Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville which is nonprofit and brings great music to a small corner of the world. It's definitely a music lover's fest. Also the No-Fi cabin is really neat.

I've wanted to check it out for a few years and would have went last year if I'd planned my vacation days better. I might check that out this year depending on Roo Crossover (or lack thereof), or I might go see Florence + OMAM before Roo instead. I haven't decided yet, Nelsonville looks fun though so I am leaning in that direction.
I watched this with my girlfriend the other night and we were both thinking how awesome it would be to have him as a late night on the farm. I doubt it will ever happen because his popularity hasn't really taken off in the states yet, but some wishful thinking. This stage show is just awesome.

Stromae puts on one hell of a show, and I would love to see him in a late night tent.

I have an extremely irrational hope that The Chemical Brothers will be on the Bonaroo lineup. They're rumored to be headlining Mysteryland on June 10, meaning they could get down for Saturday night.
Chances are I'm crazy and I'll just have to go to Mysteryland
