Is anyone else taking an RV up from AL and if so, waht time (approox), which way are you guys going in and which site are you planning to camp in? I just found out that my best friend who was coming with me MAY be going to Russia to adopt her son the week of 'Roo (great for her, but strands me ALONE for Bonnaroo.) Which, I can handle, I think..... ??? But it being my first time and all I could really use the reassurance of some friendly neighbors to at least know they were in the general vicinity if you know what I mean....
And if you aren't necessarily coming from AL, but just the general southeast, that would be cool too! I would welcome any...umm...reassurance? And the way it's looking I will have an extra ticket too.....

I'm going VIP RV from Huntsville. The route I take is 231 into Fayetteville. 64 east to 50 to 55...manchester. It takes about an hour not towing anything. I look for it to take the better part of 2 hours with a trailer in tow. I plan on leaving out around 5am Thrusday.

Thanks for the offer, but really just looking to have some people AROUND that I know (or know OF) in the general vicinity. I know there will be several RV campgrounds this year and I was just curious if anyone from this general area had a plan on when/where they might be going in, etc. Just general first timer worry wart not knowing anyone or what to expect stuff. LOL! I ALWAYS have to have a plan.....it's OCD.... ;D

you know i have a friend that is comming from huntsville that is meeting up with us in chattanooga on wensday night (before the roo). she isnt sure how she is going to get there though.

looking like i am heading to birmingham on wensday to see the great lake swimmers and pick her up. with you are more than welcome to tag along though...believe me with a group of 25 people your gonna be hard pressed to be alone.
