Walking underneath the arch was never a sacred passage for me. I do enjoy seeing each year's new design. It looked lame this summer sitting behind a barricade, untouchable to the attendees, like some piece in a museum. The quick entry, not having to go through the winding fence was a major plus. I hope they get it worked out so that all that it is important to get to walk under it next time.
i didn't even walk under the arch until my 3rd or 4th bonnaroo. i was always camped way closer to the entrance by the Other tent and just used that one the whole time. the arch was never really a big deal to me. though they have stepped up their decoration game the past few years.
I never made it through the arch my first Roo because I was camped right by the side entrance. It never even crossed my mind to go over to the arch. I was overwhelmed and had other things on my mind.

I wasn't even camped near the entrance by The Other Tent (Pod 9 represent lol) and I always ended up going to that entrance. This was my first roo, so on Thursday when I first entered I went through the main entrance. Once I found out about the other one, I didn't really give a quack about the main lol. Much quicker and easier for me to go through the other entrance. I really didn't care about the arch either. It was cool to see, but walking under wasn't that big of deal. It seems many are interested in walking under the arch, so I believe the farm should find a way so people can while also being efficient in moving the lines

I know this isn't the thread for it and I know it's mostly random blah blah, but, what entrance do you usually use? 2nd year for me and I've gotten stuck in Pod 9 and Pod 10, would love to not have to do tent only or groop camping to get a decent spot. Pod 10 was a nightmare this year.

I have been flying in the past few years, and hike my ass over to where my sister and friends are camped. The past five years it has been over near either right behind access camping or near pod 6 ish. They all live around Tennessee, so they just meet at a catholic church on highway 55 north of the West entrance around noon Thursday every year and have had about 2 hours in traffic before getting in. The first couple years I went and drove and entered the west entrance and ended up camping over there as well, but I also spent hours and hours in line. we used the east entrance a couple years and always ended up north of bushy branch and pretty far away. went back to the east entrance and it has been peachy ever since. we have consistently camped in nearly the same area. Not even a 1 beer walk unless the centeroo line is long.
