ok was it great or what????? what a fun time and my favorite thing to do at roo.
ok now that its fresh on our minds. please say what you thought worked really well or could be addressed. what foods seemed to go very fast. trust me ill remember these ideas come next year and we can pass them along in the planning. plus it gives us ideas to pass to people wanting to know what to bring
i think next year ill bring diet coke, coke , and tea to add to the non alcoholic drinks and to the mixers
it seemed that the cooked foods went fast. i may try to buy a small grill next year and see if someone would cook on it - you dont want me grilling ok? the hot dogs went very fast and thats a simple thing right?
Brunch was of course awesome once again! It was great to see everybody!
Only suggestions would be that krissyjo and her man need to be able to step out from behind the karaoke table and mingle for more than just wedding festivities, or at least we need to set up the bar within an arms reach for them. Speaking of the bar, we could probably use a more even ratio of liquor and beer.

I agree with this lol
I was crazy upset at my system. The fact that it worked 30 minutes before brunch, then it just decided to crap out. I'm glad we figured it out and got some singing in, even though it was hit or miss at times.
Speaking of karaoke - I'd like some feedback on it, too. Any suggestions on a better setup? There's always room for improvement, so help me figure out what will make it better next year. Thanks!
more liquor or more beer? i wasnt over there. thanks
More beer, it was gone pretty quickly. Meanwhile the amount of liquor caused the table to collapse...
This. Too much liquor, not enough table, apparently? Definitely more beer! I brought some crafts from STL to share, but I didn't see any beer in the pool when I got there to add mine in.
This was my first brunch and I just wanted to say that you guys are AWESOME! Thanks for making my Dad and I feel welcome.

Thanks for bringing the karaoke! By the time I grew the balls (or, more accurately, by the time I had enough drinks in me) to sing, the system seemed to work fine. I hope you all enjoyed our rousing rendition of Tainted Love. Speaking of, does anyone know who I was singing with? There was a European guy in a hat, a shirtless guy in a tutu from Canada, and one other (who may have been your man, krissyjo?).
Who was the sweet lady who made the bracelets? I'm never taking this thing off...

Pretty sure nerdbyrd was handing out bracelets. Could have been more than one bracelet giver tho
Brunch was great. My only suggestion would be more water - I saw a lot of people looking for it this year. There was a water station about ten minutes away (Main Street maybe? The road with all the vendors), but I kept putting it off because I didn't want to leave brunch!

Sadly I was at brunch for 5 minutes lol not mine. I did give bracelets out on the farm tho and peace sign buttons
I enjoyed it very much for the 45 or so minutes I stopped by. It was nice putting some faces with names. You assholes got me drunk though. I almost threw up in the comedy tent in fact. 10/10 will attend again.
ok ...water and non alcoholic drinks should be an easy add i will remember to suggest beer and can bring some. perhaps i will ask for beer that we may hve here that other places do not have. i recall that its hard to get some beer in cans. we tend to get a lot of cans in town around roo due to festivals here
maybe next year we can put some of the bottles of liquor in the ground and pass them up to people. i will remember this

katbur2 was the one with the bracelets <3 Canadian tutu is Boner friend, Mike aka Canada, and is not on Inforoo or only has a handful of posts? I forget now. I am not sure who is European guy with a hat? Jaz was definitely wearing a hat and sang some songs, but is not European.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Brunch was awesome. I had my camelback so didn't miss water. Cokes would have been nice. Our gumbo went super fast, next year we will take a taxi or bring a wagon, hauling that hot ass gumbo there was NOT fun. I loved seeing and putting names to faces.
That is always the first to go/ what we need more of. Beer and savory (preferably hot) food are always the hot commodities. There is always plenty of hard alcohol, sweets and easy snack food.
Also, we need to ensure the legs on the bar table are locked...
EDIT: And plates. We definitely needed more of those.

I could really go for a savory sausage right about now....
