I can understand that the washrooms might get a llot of use at a festival of this size but this year was beyond disgusting.....It seemed as if they just weren't cleaning them. I was in Pod 9 and thought that it was odd that they were charging $5 for a single use to use the pay toilets and the porto potties were filled to the seat.....or on the seat in many.....
Last year I was in Pod 2 and at times it was bad but they were cleaned periodically.
Do they just not clean the ones around the pay toilets ?

I was in pod 10 and they did get cleaned daily... just were one of the last pods. At night, you'd come home to a clean porto. In the morning, they'd be nasty again. Pod 10 really had some rank portos compared to the rest of the festival. Inside centeroo, with the new male/female porto system -- I never once ran into a nasty one. Pod 2 seemed to have legit portos except Saturday night. Pod 10 just couldn't get their shit together. I honestly have NEVER seen a shit pile poking out of the top of a porto seat before, but I saw it this year. I need a shirt that says "I survived the pod 10 portos, ESPECIALLY THAT C-U-N-T HOLE STEVE" -- there was one with that phrase carved into it.
The port-o-potties in Pod 7 were definitely not as clean and stocked as they were last year, but I didn't encounter any piles higher than the seat, thankfully! :-O

Last year I think you could buy a wristband for it or something. It was separate from the pod's main group of porto's. I wasn't out there this year (thank god) but I'm assuming this thing is what they are talking about.

it was out there. i think the wristband was 25 bucks for unlimited use? not sure. i used the free portos --- which is why the shit pile was higher than the seat.
I used the magic shitters in Centeroo almost exclusively all weekend. My only complaint is that people keep posting about them. We all need to make a pact not to mention them or they'll be ruined, ruined I tells ya!!!!

By Saturday mornin' I think everyone on The Farm knew about ours in POD 3.
We had flushable potties by our pod all weekend. Between those and the ones in centeroo I only used a Porto like twice. It was the best potty experience I've ever had at any festival ever.
Basically, I'm sorry your potties were so terrible to you all weekend, mine were wonderful.
I heard the pigs rounded up all the porto cleaners late saturday becuz they were huffin' air freshener and eating the urinal cakes 'til they started seeing things.

Fortunately, that was not the case in Pod 7 - they had things down to a science! One guy stood outside to separate the urinal-users from the commode-users. The other guy, armed with a toilet brush and TP, would dart over to the commode after a guy finished, and he'd inspect it. He'd give it one or two more flushes, he needed, or wipe things down. He wasn't shy about asking people to tip him out, and after last year's NIGHTMARE situations, I had absolutely no problem dropping a buck into the bucket each time!

We were in the very back of Pod 10's campground. There was one night they were piled just a couple inches from the seat. I honestly almost vomited. Always carry your own toilet paper in case there isn't any!

I was in TO and had those shitters scoped out by Thursday morning! I also understand they had some out by group as well and I think that was it as far as free flushables in the GA accessible areas. Anyone else in any other pods have these? Never mind. Sometimes I just don't like to read.

They seemed more clean to me this year. Last year, every time I showered, the drains were so filled with hair and empty sample packages, they couldn't even drain properly. Plus there was that time that I noticed a giant ass turd in the stall mid-shower (that's what I get for taking shots before showering, I guess). My showers this year were (mostly) clean and free of hair. And they were 100% free of shit, thank god.
I could never find the flushing ones, but I found the ones in Pod 1 this year were much cleaner than the potties in pod 2 last year. I really wish I would have known about the real toilets in centeroo. Imagine the incredible poops I could have had.
i probably should have just paid the $25 because it really did impact my overall experience this year.....lol but when you pay $300 for a ticket you kind of hope that the organizer is going to provide reasonably clean washrooms......the flushable ones by the grove were very clean.....I guess it is just shit luck!

Never had a bad experience in the bathrooms this year. Clean every time I went in. I've never heard of having to pay to take a shit though. I'd tip the guy cleaning the flushables every time I used them, but he did a damn good job and deserved every dollar he earned.
