Don't think he's as bad as some act nor as good as a lot act either. My teenager cousin really turns me away from him cause he just thinks he's the greatest ever and is real douchey about it. I'll be honest I prefer slowed down poppy Drake to "bangers" style Drake. Just can't take him seriously when he starts trying to act hard and I picture my little cousin listening to his songs in his car doing this.
He's kind of like the hip hop equivalent of the Foo Fighters. He can be good in small doses like when he does a hook or has a feature verse in a song (Forever, and Blessings immediately come to mind) and he has some good songs. Hold on, we're going home is a great jam. But he is way overrated, especially by the music media.

I was curious what their chart comparison is
Foo Fighters Top 100 Singles: 10 Drake Top 100 Singles: 27 (40 more as a featured artist)

Not to mention half the career length
That wasn't the point. Of course Drake has more songs on the charts. Hip hop is more popular than rock, plus rappers put out much more material.
Drake is alright. I don't really care for him but I would see him if he were a headliner. I just don't find his work to be that interesting. I tend to assume that the people who hate him must just be forced to listen to him all the time.
