Even though it's clearly happening (for every denial, yet another publication pops up with a source they can't name, saying it is happening), I kind of wish it wouldn't happen, just because of the absolute savaging CoS would take. It's a double edged sword; if it happens, we get more LCD, which is great...but CoS gets to gloat over basically being the first outlet to publish what was confirmed on message boards a month ago. If it doesn't happen, then it sucks because LCD would be awesome ...but CoS looks like the bunch of clowndicked frauds that they are. It's really both a win/win and a lose/lose situation.
When will the complaints begin about people who are suddenly huge LCD Soundsystem fans? Will they be the new "Oh I've always loved Pavement/Neutral Milk Hotel" act that people go crazy over getting back together?
There definitely is gonna be a lot of this. Maybe its because I live in New York but I can't tell you how many friends of friends or people at concerts I've met, that when we're talking about music and favorite shows/bands, how many people tell me that they were at the final show at MSG. Don't think its possible that I've met that many people that were actually there, people just want to seem really cool. But the point is their popularity I think has only gotten bigger and more people will be going crazy for a reunion, so I'm sure thats bound to piss off some people and there will be complaints.

I dont know a great deal about LCD, but I've been on a listening frenzy since I heard about all this. I saw them from a tv in the media area at Bonnaroo a few years ago and I remember something about Wayne Coyne tackled a streaker that was getting on the stage. Anybody remember that?

I remember hearing there was a streaker, but thankfully wasn't in the tackle zone.

Yeah, just confirmed from a hard source that after Coyne got him on the ground, he jerked the dude off and confetti went everywhere. It was all part of a bigger plan. We'll see it in full HD in Christmas on Mars 2, I'm sure.

Wayne tackled the guy and Aziz Ansari helped pin him down.
The plot thickens. I wish there was a video within the vast constraints of the INTERNET.
The streaker made it all the way to the 2nd or 3rd row barging straight through the middle of the crowd. He was a heavy dude. I remember making eye contact with him and he was extremely gone. He bounced off the 2nd or 3rd row of people because they weren't moving from the spot they had camped in for hours. That was the last I saw of him. Didn't know until reports the following week that Wayne had tackled him.
If Bonnaroo gets an LCD Reunion, let's just go ahead and get 4 straight days of LCD and no other music because no one would care about seeing anyone else if that happens.
Don’t think this incredibly accurate prediction that no one was going to care about any bands on the 2016 lineup besides LCD got enough respect

After seeing their show in Brooklyn a few weeks ago, I would love to see them at Bonnaroo next year. But I doubt they'll take anything less than a headlining spot, which I don't think they are at this point.

ugh i wish they rescheduled the last 3 shows rather than outright cancelling them. feeling so much fomo esp considering i could have gone if i went for an earlier night in the residency

They're gonna tour all this year. Probably a proper US tour in the fall that mimics the 2017 club and theatre dates
