Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I also want to add that you people are the least welcoming bunch of motherfuckers on the planet
You said you've read some previous games, though. You have to know that people like to get sassy, bordering on rude/aggressive sometimes, during gameplay.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
I'd rather wait until after the first whack to do so
Hmm... the cagey type.
I will note that you should never operate this late in the round with the expectation of survival, especially if you're in the runoff. You in particular would do yourself well to speak up, because what you say might actually save you.

I will decline that opportunity on the basis that there is more to be gained by not showing my hand quite yet (regardless of whether or not I'm eliminated)

Welcome to Mafia.

Fundamentally, you're wrong. If you're town, that is. The town will always benefit from more info. So will the mafia, yes, but the town's benefit outweighs the mafia imo.
Eh. I do think Dragon is getting defensive and posting some weird stuff, but I also can't imagine this is how he would come into his first game if part of the Maifa.
Of course I could be wrong on this - it could be a tactic/a strategy thing, I know that. But for now, I don't feel like my vote should remain on him.
Gonna switch over to Jaz, since the others have 3.

That's what they said about me during M73.
And those that were there know what happened with that (I was mafia, and pulled a stunt at the end to win the game).
I also don't like that in the same post that you say this, you save him from the runoff.

Yeah I knew someone was gonna mention that - but in R1, generally all we have to go off of is our gut feeling (except Inspector and Mafia naturaly who have more info than the town). Sometimes it is accurate/on the right track and other times not at all. I said that I do realize he could be Mafia and acting like this; as of right now, though, my gut feeling is that that isn't the case. I am choosing to go with that as my leading decision making factor, rather than the fact that switiching my vote to place someone else in the run off instead of him might look suspect to others.
There's still 12 hours left in the round. If others feel he should be in there, you're of course welcome to act on that yourself.

We had a simular talk in Round 1 two games back about a first time player acting weird. I was the one defending them that time but I did leave my vote on them. So I'm not so sure you should have moved yours just yet. Having said, you would think his mafia buddies would have had time to calm him down by now. At least Monie had a clear goal with her move, that doesn't seem the be the case here.

Dragon is by far the main person that deserved his place in this runoff. Not so sure he should be let out. But I'm not voting along with JFG. If I've learned anything since I've been playing again it's that JFG votes for an innocent person and sticks with it in round 1.

Some thoughts on "day" two before I go to bed.
1. I do what I want, dammit. 2. Rummy and Dragon are acting totally suspicious right now. Defending him for being the new guy (because new guys can't be mafia even though the roles are entirely random) and then letting him out of the runoff is smelly. That kind of smell that smells...smelly. 3. But really though, Rummy's reasoning is as flimsy as all hell. I don't buy it at all. 4. Lol Rummy 500 the joke's on you my vote is already on Dragon. 5. DRAGON FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN SPEAK THE FUCK UP. 6. jfg108carini12 helloooooo... 7. EAP seems to be going for option two. 8. After Jimmy's spiel about getting rid of an experienced player, Rummy moving her vote to Jaz (who has presented nothing that actually merits his lynching so far) is even more interesting. 9. I mean, do I know what I doing? Now to present my case for Dragon to be in the runoff.
First off, if he were acting for the benefit of the town, he would elaborate on his vote on EAP instead of being a coward and "waiting until after the whack".
Wait, how could he be so sure he'll survive? Either one of two reasons: 1. He's surely playing so stupidly as to be of use to the Mafia and pretty much guarantee he won't be lynched or whacked, or 2. He is Mafia himself.
Rummy defending him does not help his case. In moving her vote Rummy, to me, looks like she's "protecting" a new player that the Mafia knows has fucked up and that the hounds (read: at least two "experienced" players) are after, and in the process expedites the departure of an experienced player who poses a threat from the get-go.
This actually says just as much, if not more about Rummy, due to the reasons I just stated.
I understand what vote switching to take someone out of/put another player in the run off looks like, but you realize that the vast majority of the time that occurs (statistically speaking) is just from townies wanting to switch things around, shake things up, see what happens?
I know Dragon's personality on this board; I've read his posts here and there. He's coming across to me right now as newbie who is town and trying to sound more wise/knowledgable than he actually is in the game. That's my opinion. So I switched off him.
SFA said he wants Dragon in the run off but is unwilling to vote along with JFG, on principle. It isn't my fault that I switched my vote, with plenty of time left in the round for people to adjust if they want, and no one else has moved to get him back in.

Hey now, there was one game I had a Mafia with my d1r1 vote and later that day switched to the inspector for the deciding vote to lynch. Not my proudest moment in the game, and one of the few times I've switched a d1 vote unless it gets wiped in a run off.

Ha. Not in the games I'm thinking of. Either way, besides joking around, the real point is I have nothing that strong to go off of, so switching is just as likely to help the mafia as staying. Plus switching votes without some plausible reason has the added bonus of dragging my name into the dirt and taking focus off searching for actual mafia.
Something seems more off from him then the other 3. Having followed a few games and thinking Jaz would get voted straight off day 1, vote changes with cryptic reasoning, and the defense which makes sense but doesn't. Waiting on info (real or imagined) doesn't help the town, only helps add to the confusion.

I opted to switch my vote simply to mix things up and create movement.
I personally would not trust Rummy one bit. Why defend me if you're town? I've been unhelpful thus far, and am new at this. To the town, I am either mafia or a doofus, which hurts you one way or the other. I would be an easy candidate for the mafia to let play, continue to try to clear in the eyes of the town, and in turn distract the town from trying to figure out the actual mafia.
Also, SFA not changing the vote to me, despite stating that I'm the main person that deserved his place in the runoff, is mighty fishy, given the flimsy reasoning. I'm not quite sure what to make of this yet, as it sort of contradicts my statement above, but that's definitely something to keep in mind. It seems a little like trying to bring attention to me, without actually having me get voted off (which, as previously stated, would not benefit the mafia).
