The article focused a lot on adding a few permanent buildings to the site (with water supplying fire sprinklers), but you all know what they're thinking.
It clearly says in the article that they're wanting to focus on permanent bathrooms and showers. If a lazy river comes out of this instead, then there's going to be thousands of pissed off people.

It seems so. Their focus has been on permanent buildings, which has always sounded to me like more than just showers and bathrooms. I'm curious what that might mean. Even so, the latest news coverage mentions water filling stations as part of the upgrade:
My guess (just a guess!) is the car camping fees are acting as a sort of dedicated revenue stream to fund capital improvements, mainly water. Local governments are trying to point to that to draw matching funds. That Bonnaroo committed to building the first line without the definite assurance of government grants is interesting. (Although, who knows what's really happening on the ground; I'm trying to read meaning into this stuff from two states away.)
As for me, I never really mind the sulfur, even by Sunday.
I love that stuff. It's the only thing that gets me going at 6 a.m. when it's 110 degrees in my tent and I'm dehydrated because I can't drink water in my sleep. Onsite RVs are fine, but they should really look into onsite IVs.
