First Ween show. I loved the setlist and they sounded great from the pit. After being destroyed by the sun and alcohol all weekend they got me dancing so hard. Particularly during Take Me Away.

i wasn't a big ween fan prior to the show, hadn't listened to much of their stuff, but i thought their set was great. i was dancing from afar and wished i could've gotten a little closer, but it was surprisingly a lot of fun.

Ween played for 2.5 hours at their own show in Boston last month, and it didn't feel long whatsoever. A 75 minute set is a joke given their back catalog and diverse styles.
So this past weekend I saw Ween play at Riot Fest Chicago for nearly 30 minutes longer than they got at Bonnaroo
which I think sums up the problem with Bonnaroo in 2016
i'd love to know the expenses related to running a stage a bit longer. maybe they are way higher than i think they are. but even as an accountant it seems nuts to cut a band off from playing over when there is no act following them and you already paid them for the 75 minutes they committed. it's not like you have to pay the artist overtime, shit is free. the band wins and the fans win.

Maybe they didn't want them cutting too much into Dead & Company? I mean they already scheduled them to cut 15 minutes in so that seems kind of silly. But that's the only thing I can think of

nice. I went to the RIOT fest Denver show. LMLYP, Buckingham, Final Alarm - such a Deaner show. It was great. If they'd have played LMLYP at Bonnaroo it would have been half the set.

loved that Denver setlist. In addition to what you already mentioned, you got a Mister Would You Please Help My Pony, fuckin Captain Fantasy, Mushroom Festival in Hell, and She Fucks Me. so brown.
happy to be alive when Ween is out there playing live.
