lol @ backing up a ridiculous claim by showing an episode list from fucking November 1999. Doesn't get more 90's that that. *puts on New Radicals/Hoobastank playlist*

my point being they were obviously a band before the 00's. but i love you all and if you want to miss out on the greatness that is jables and rage cage that's on you bro bro. im tryin to see em for a fifth time!
That's actually pretty cool. One of my metal friends has seen them a bunch and loves them too. And this is a guy who listens to Dark Circle/Norwegian black metal shit like Mayhem, Burzum, Gorgoroth, etc. \m/

Wat? I've seen The D twice, including the epic Bonnaroo show. Shit, D was one of the driving forces in me going to Roo.
Just sayin, calling The D 90's is like calling NIN 80's because Down In It came out in 1989.

i would like to catch Bully, London Souls, and Con Brio tonight as I wont be home. Hopefully ill get to check out Borns and Vulfpeck. I have a wedding friday so wont get to see anything but would love to catch LCD in full since i didnt for Coachella, same goes for Kimasi. GoldLink and Shamir are 2 others I really would like to see (if you like Anderson Paak you will like GoldLink). I should have time on Sat to catch Judah and really want to since I missed them both at Hangout and here. I have never teh Super Jam so i hope to catch it Sunday night and at least some of The Dead just out of curiosity.
There's a ton of "TBA's" for Saturday so fingers crossed for a PJ stream. Top 5 as of now with the current schedule online:
1.) LCD Soundsystem
2.) Lennon/Clapypool
3.) Father John Misty
4.) Kamasi Washington (Get this savage to the beach next year)
5.) Judah & The Lion (just 'cuz I missed them at Hangout this year and heard good things)
I watched Kamasi and LCD on Coachella's stream and both looked awesome so I'm pumped to watch again and Father John is just always entertaining as f*ck. The rest I've personally seen, seen on other streams, or don't care enough to watch again.

Yeah that Kamasi set was a highlight of my Homechella. Agreed he needs to be on the beach.

Did you happen to catch St. Germain? It was equally cool.
Oh and zaj,
about 2 hours ago redbull tv posted what I think is the full schedule.

Super stoked for the Roo Stream. Love the idea of some cold beers on my couch instead of spending the money and energy to actually do the fest.
It makes me curious, too. With the popularity of live streams seeming to grow, and the quality being pretty high - is there a possibility of live streams pulling away from true ticket sales. I'm kinda thinking about this in the same light as college football. Even Bama has trouble filling the stadium for small games - I hear more and more people cite the quality of the tv broadcast (+ money savings, time, etc) as a main reason they don't go to see games in person as often as in the past. idk, just thinking out loud.
Also, what in the hay just happened with Bob. I went back and read through those pages, and that escalated so incredibly fast. Never met the guy, but I haven't see that from him before in the forums. Hate to see it go down like that.
I'm just hoping I really like at least one headliner for next year. 3 duds would really hurt my feelings.

I love the live streams but they would never replace the real thing for me. They're great because i have two ten year olds and a newborn and last year I went to six plus festivals and this year I will be lucky to hit one. I can watch at home with a cold beer or with the baby and it is an amazing thing. But sitting here talking to you guys watching Roo will never be able to replicate sitting on Paula's porch having a frosty solo cup of beer with all of you (of any other real fest experience).

If you didn't live so freakin far away I'd bring my crew and some cold brew and hangout on your couch with you and yours this weekend. Having said that, it's really nice of you all from far and wide to make the trip down to this part of the world to party with us local yokels every year. It's not always just about the music. Ok. So mostly it is...but you get what I'm saying.
Man that Con Brio set looks like fun. Friends who have seen them have raved about it and I am psyched just watching.
Souls were good too. Papadosio is fucking awesome. They are always on another level.
You're more into the jamtronica than me. I like Papadosio and caught a bit but put on Vulfpeck and freaking loved it. Skipped the Souls for Bully because we just watched them on the Mountain Jam stream Sunday and I have seen them a couple times but wish we would have checked that out instead.
papdosio was dabawm. I thoroughly enjoyed Twin Peaks as well. Would make for a great 2 pm AXS Stage act at Hangout. Borns was wayyyyy too turned down for his style of singing. I was watching it at home like wow if I wasn't in the front 10-15 rows of this, this would be awful. I figured it was the stream but my buddy who's there said the same thingt. Super packed set and the sound was super low.
It's nice to see them getting the recognition they deserve. They really mixed that set up between jam, progressive, rock, jamtronica, spacy 21st century shit and all. I was talking about it with moten last night. I love Vulfpeck and have seen them live and always will see them. But there was no way I was turning up the volume on that during the PapaD set. I caught their last 5-10 minutes after it ended and it was also great. But damn. F'n hippie power I guess. :fist:
Watching The Floozies for the first time. They're pretty fun. They'd be a nice fit for Hangout.
Yeah. They rule. That's some OG Waka in Kansas shit. I've seen em about 4 times now and it's always a party. Nice to see them playing a packed set at Roo. I was actually wondering why they haven't played hangout as its always a funky dance party when they play. I don't really know Goldlink, but that's next set for me if I like him.
