Billy Joel - Kendrick Lamar - Bassnectar
Someone said they would rather see Drake than Kendrick and let me just say from personal experience of seeing him live Kendrick is a top 25 live performer right now just based off the sheer energy he brings with him. Meanwhile Drake got labeled the worst coachella headliner in the past 15 years.... Plus I really wanna see Billy Joel/Tom Petty/ Elton John live and Bassnectar would be fun as hell
I've seen Elton and Tom several times and both put on great shows. Not sure how many more shows Tom has in him, but would enjoy another Heartbreakers show at Hangout. Saw Billy Joel and Elton doing separate and dueling pianos in Nashville. Also great show. Any of the three would be a solid closer. Bassnectar and Kendrick would balance out a three night headliner lineup. I also liked Red Hot Chili Peppers or Kings of Leon shows.
I'm receiving a lot of info on Pilgrammage fest in Franklin, TN in October. Already seen most of those performers and I understand it is hard to get in and out everyday for a day to day show. Anybody go last year?
Bonnaroo site in Tullahoma TN Sunday newspaper. AC wants to invest all or part of their $280,000 annual payment to Coffee Co to fund water and infrastructure projects. They are hinting at two to four annual events starting in 2020. I can see Bonnaroo shrinking to 45,000 target crowd in June with equal size events ranging from country, Christian contemporary, dance/EDM, others, on the site. Need to do something about the dust like putting down recycled material walkways and providing more venues were you can chill off/take cover from storms.

I only have 8 free tickets and discount codes. I guess its cause my dates usually pay. Oh well, I'm not mad!
Is there a listing somewhere that says what shows we can use these for? I've been on the fence about Sloss Fest, but if I can go for free, that changes everything.
I signed up for email alerts for eligible shows. I'm on mobile and will post a link tomorrow. I couldn't find a list though. Doubt Sloss is an option unfortunately.

I believe it is only Live Nation venue shows. The only one in Alabama is the Oak Mtn. Amphitheater in Birmingham. Could be wrong about this though!
Checked my account this morning and got this - "We are currently experiencing difficulties. Please check back again at a later time." Could be interesting. I have purchased quite a few tickets over the period of time documented in the lawsuit and agreement.
"Ticketmaster is issuing vouchers and free tickets to customers who purchased tickets online between October 21st, 1999 – February 27, 2013. That’s a pretty big window, so chances are you might be eligible for a reward. All you have to do is sign in to your account page, and click “Active Vouchers.” That will allow you to see the amount of the reward. Don’t get TOO excited though, apparently they’re only worth $2.25 each because more than 50 million people were involved in the suit (there’s always a catch, sigh). As LiveNation explains there are also free tickets are available for General Admission concert seating, but only on a first-come, first-served basis. Of course, they’re subject to all the normal limitations and availability… you know the drill." Yahoo on-line article.

My guess is that it's going to be mainly amphitheater shows that have general admission/lawn seating, and the vouchers can be used a couple of weeks after the event goes on sale if there are still tickets available.
Some bands playing Roo this year who would be great adds to Hangout lineup include; Chris Stapleton, Nathaniel Ratliffe, Griz, Cymande, Twin Peaks, London Souls, and Grace Potter.
Probably right, but prefer krisplettuce top line in 2017, so no Calvin please.
when you get an alternative like Foals to play opposite you forget that Calvin Harris is headlining. As long as im happy about 1 headliner and at elast one other is opposed by someone i like im fine with it.

Can't agree more that scheduling and having an alternate choice of performer is a plus. That is what I liked about earlier Hangouts. They balanced out different genre performers playing at same times across the festival site. Crowds were spread and sound didn't "bleed over" too bad. Bonnaroo "bleed over" was significant this year. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to Hangout this year, but it does sound like the Foals, Lenny Kravitz, and Panic at the Disco shows gave folks some alternatives to two of the Headliners who had issues.
