I would like to see the John Mayer bluesy show like he played in LA.
The John Mayer Trio will be active next year. That would be amazing but if he's at Hangout I'm sure it will be his solo, poppy hits, new stuff and a Dead cover (Althea?) in there for good measure.
I'd be all over this. Hit up the tent vs Calvin and I'm gold. Not gonna act like Lady Gaga is my thing but she's interesting enough that I'd like to check her out live.

I agree. If it was anyone but Calvin or if there was a good option in the tent versus Calvin I would not mind this at all.
Swap John Mayer and Calvin Harris and I'd love those headliners.
John Mayer - Lady Gaga - Arcade Fire
Ouch. Painful proctologist exam. Yo Bob, apparently Petty is in for Jazz Fest this year. You can live out classic rock vicariously. Otoh, he may be on tour if Heartbreakers are playing here. I saw them at Hangout, and it was good enough. But whether I go that day to JF will depend on who all is playing. I'll go 5 of 7 days.
I know my wife would flip out if gaga was there. Me not so much but I'd be happy for her. Is she even a possibility?
I honestly have no clue how to answer this question anymore with this fest. Like the upper echelon of headliners Hangout will never get, same with the ones from harder rock genres. But I have no clue who they can and can't book tbh. Like Weeknd and Calvin weren't cheap, so I don't think financially there's a huge issue, but idk. This is going to be an interesting year.
What @eateban said..proctologist..lol. Lady Gaga would be interesting. That's about it for me. But wouldn't doubt 21 Pilots or Sia. I'm thinking Calvin would show up before Green Day. Also think it will go more pop like Timberlake, Swift, Perry, or some new award winner they can pay down and claim award winner. I would go for MMJ and TTB bigtime.
When i saw Lady Gaga had a new album out, I thought, "hmm, I wonder if she'll play hangout?" How crazy is that? That about sums up the power of goldenvoice's influence... it's now totally conceivable that Lady gaga would be a HOF headliner. A year ago today, this would have never ever crossed my mind.

Booker our condo this weekend. Btw, two bedrooms super close on the west side already seem to be scarce. We booked two different ones through vrbo, had a hold pit on my cc then got an email saying the owners had those days blocked off......
Umphreys/STS9/Disco Biscuits closing out the tent would do it for me, but will not happen.
Also, MTVlive debuted nugs.net live stash a few weeks ago. Widespread, Moe. Biscuits and String Cheese so far.
got the DVR'd but havent been able to watch yet other than a few mins of the Biscuits
I didn't catch that they were broadcasting all 6 sets of Disco Biscuits that weekend until Saturday afternoon. I ended up watching like 5 of the 6 in 24 hours. All of those sets were great. I know that new show debuted a couple of weeks ago with them, and it was one of those 6 sets. --------------------------------
Snail'd it
I've seen Snails a few times. I find his sets to be a little dorky and crunky, but I might stop in and catch a few minutes on Sunday if I can. The problem is that Snails is 5-6, and Puscifer is already til 5:30. So either I catch the last 30 minutes of Snails (seen multiple times), Preservation Hall (seen multiple times) or Band of Horses (saw once). I don't know. But I do know you loved GRiZ's Euphoria set (I did too). A lot of people we were with on Friday night for GRiZ and Muzzy Bear (with Russ Liquid at times) thought the new show was the best GRiZ show they'd ever seen. I thought Voodoo 14 and Hangout's shows were great, but Euphoria was definitely up there too. We ran into Khris Royal at GRiZ, and he told me he'd be playing with Rebelution at Voodoo but was not actually billed. #sax news
