Over or Under for the lineup to be announced by Thanksgiving. Wasn't it a week before last year?
They finally updated their cover page to 2017. And that...appears to be it so far. They blocked out tickets to the festival but, not last pre-party. Ticket $50 for GA or walk ups and free for VIP and Super VIP. Was the VIP worth the money this past May? Big Freedia and Moon Taxi would have been worth the $50. I want to see a lineup before I buy tickets to 2017 now that I missed alumni discounted tickets.

Looking at gulf shores webpage on hangout fest 2017 it lists the festival hours this for as 11am-12am! I'll take a extra hour later if that's true. I can dig it!
I remember being surprised by the early drop last year but I can't remember if there was any warning that the lineup was coming when it did? Did they suddenly get active on social media again last November?

Nope, if I remember correctly they just dropped it out of nowhere and tickets went on sale like two days later.
Yeah it was completely out of nowhere. I remember I was at the dentist and I came out to a big group text of the guys that were planning on going blowing up. I wasn't sure if it was real and then I came on here and ya. The Weeknd was our #1.
I doubt it drops earlier but I can't see them holding it back unless there is a major booking issue. I really didn't mind the ???? Back in 13 when they dropped Stevie as the 3rd headliner.
Agree JUICY JAY. I would be good with them releasing 60-70% and listening to the feedback on forums like this and maybe trying to make a move to put some balance on the lineup. Wasn't there more than one year where they added someone at the top? The pre-party adds were always a plus as well. I'm in the process of trading boats so I want to see a lineup before making a bigger plunge at the beach.
no festival cares about what less then .5% of attendees posting on an online forum wants nor can they wait that long before booking the rest of the lineup.

thats right. pretty sure they gave us an act or 2 that was playing with some obvious hints but cant remember who.

I was throwing names out for Okeechobee and figured John Mayer was in play. What are the thoughts on that for Hangout? He shold have new material out early next year and seems to fit this demo.
I would love to see a Your Body is a Wonderland into a 30 minute China > Rider on the beach. The kids faces would be great.
