OK you guys, I think I may have bitten off a little more than I can chew. I now have four additional kids to buy for, excluding my own kids and family and the other two kids I had already "adopted". I just don't know how to say no. I don't want to say no. So, I thought I'd see if any of you want to help. Help me help them.
These two kids are part of a family that has fallen on very hard times. I've been told grocery gift cards would also be very helpful, as any money they have is being used to pay their power bill and other necessary living expenses. The person who was "assigned" this family has been having health issues, so tonight I offered to step in & take over.
The other two kids are from an agency that serves as a foster home and emergency shelter for abused and neglected children. Two kids came in today and the coordinator contacted me about them. They are working on getting me their information ASAP.
I was thinking you could purchase something online & have it shipped to me. Or give monetarily if you are able, thru paypal. I so know times are hard for so many, so if you can't, it's ok. I mean that. But if you want to help, that's ok too.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or have any thoughts on this. I hope it's OK that I'm posting this. It just breaks my heart to think of a kid not having a good Christmas, and their parents who can't give them one.

I think it would be cool if we cleared out the whole wishlist. Every kid that celebrated Christmas had one year growing up that was better or more special than any other Christmas. I think we should make it this year for these kids.

Once you've entered someone's list, you can browse the item details of anything on the list.
To purchase from a list: Browse the registry. Note:
You can sort list items by title, date, price, priority or purchased status by choosing the desired option from the Sort and Filter pull-down menus.
Click Add to Cart or Buy with 1-Click. Note:
You can click these buttons from the list page or product detail pages. When you order, the item will be moved to the Purchased section of the recipient's list. If you place your order through the Shopping Cart instead of 1-Click, you can enter a gift message and request gift-wrap. Continue shopping or proceed to checkout. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your order. Note:
Only the registrant's name and city will appear on the default address to protect the privacy of the list owner. If you're purchasing an item from a seller, the default shipping address will only be available if the list owner has enabled third-party address sharing. Otherwise, you'll need to know and enter the shipping address. To mark a seller item as purchased, click the Buying this elsewhere link next to the item and follow the instructions in the pop-up.
So when an item is purchased from the wish list, it will move into the purchased section. And you can look elsewhere for deals! That's what I do. I love online shopping.

I currently have $75 in my paypal & so many items are off the wish list. I'm currently ordering some outfits at Target for each kid while I watch the Heisman ceremony.

you guys, target has free shipping on everything until christmas, and it's usually pretty quick. i haven't compared prices, but there are always coupon codes for their site. figured i'd share for everyone who doesn't have prime. there's an option on the wish list to mark if you've purchased an item from somewhere other than amazon.

I sent some money to go towards a gift card for the 17 year old. I can't even read some of this stuff lately without sobbing, it's so hard to imagine what they are dealing with. Thank you for having such a huge heart and letting us help <3
FYI Headbanz is out of stock until the 21st and wouldn't arrive until Christmas Eve. EDIT: I say this^ not because I bought it, but because maybe we should find another similar option that is in stock?

Bought the bed rest pillow & animal throw/pillow for the teenage girl, along with a jewelry set. Waiting to hear back from the coordinator what store she would like a gift card to.
