Anyone who needs some plans for the weekend should seriously consider going to the Charlie Brown Christmas shows at the The Earl on Friday or Saturday. It's a fun, laid-back way to celebrate Christmas and some of the best Christmas music ever made.
I have a single extra ticket (Orch Left Row V near center aisle) for the 12/29 WSP show at the Fox I'm looking to trade for a single 12/30 WSP ticket, anywhere in the building. I'll be there around 5pm the 29th and can do the trade then. It's a hard ticket not a printoff.

dang, didn't know he was with that spark plug. i hope she comes out for Nye! I like his voice, but yeah, the front man stuff...met him at smith's olde bar last year watching a couple other new Orleans bands. he was cool to talk to.
Anyone else trying for ACDC tickets in the morning?
Man, you're hitting all the ($$$) big shows.
I really am. I had a slower 2015 so I'm making up for it next year. And there are lots of good tours to choose from. It helps that I have a few Ticketmaster gift cards.
So far I have Springsteen, Duran Duran and CHIC, ACDC, The Cure, Lyle Lovett and Vince Gill, and Adele, and I've got my eye on 5-10 more if they get really cheap on Stubhub or Craigslist.
Any radio stations, websites, blogs in the area ever have any good contests or giveaways for shows?
I've won awesome stuff from Criminal Records before. I got tickets from them to Trinumeral (with Blockhead and Flying Lotus) as well as tickets to a Drive-By Truckers with access to their soundcheck. Definitely enter their stuff when you get a chance.
WRAS always used to give away good stuff but I don't know how much they do that anymore...

So the Tabernacle was oversold last night. You could not move in there....i've been to plenty of sold out shows there, but this was ridiculous / unpleasant.
