Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So my friends/ride just decided NOT to go, which would be terrible except it's the perfect chance for me to make new friends with you and have an even better time.
I tried to put a lot of info in my profile, but I'll reiterate, that this will be my fourth year and I feel pretty "experienced" in navigating down there. I think the best thing to do is leave Tuesday around 8, crash the night in VA, camping or w/ friends, then get on the road early Wednesday to make it down to Nashville in time to catch a show that night and go out. Manchester is only an hour away and I've found that early in the day there isn't much traffic (an hour tops). That means you can eat BBQ in Nashville thursday afternoon and have your tent pitched and be dancing in the first row at 4 when the music starts (unannounced bands).
I have to work tuesday, but I only need 4 hours of sleep, so i just need to be home by 3 am which I think might be possible. Maybe I won't work tuesday...
The picture is the year we took my friend's parents car and it broke down, which is why i want to rent a car. At least then if something happens they're responsible, so even if you have the most beautiful, reliable car with 2 miles on it, I still just want to rent a car, or van, get insurance, be honest about how far we're taking it, and then play music loud and (something not allowed in forum) in it the whole way down. Is that really too much to ask?
I'm totally putting myself out there, you can go to my myspace page, you can email me, you can offer me a job in music event productions, which is what i really want to do, you can just invite me to a show sometime. Whatever, I just can't wait for bonnaroo and I'm going to stay positive that this is somehow going to work out better than I ever hoped, and then I can rub it in my friends faces. I do know at least 6 people who I want to meet up with down there, but I'm always happy to have new friends, and I don't think they like the same music as me... which brings me to:
the bands I'm most excited for (!!!): girl talk, brazilian girls, hot chip, wilco, white stripes, annuals, flaming lips, feist, spoon, and my morning jacket who are not playing but should.
Leave Sunday night or Monday morning, bc I need to be at work Tuesday. Let's rent a car and split all the costs. Music for the drive is necessary. Smokes are good too. I'm a good driver and a fabulous human being. This will be my 4th year going to bonnaroo. I'm most excited for: Hot Chip, Girl Talk, Brazilian Girls, Annuals, White Stripes, Spoon, Flaming Lips and Wilco. I am not sketchy. : )

Are you still looking for someone to drive from NYC with you? My friend and I have been planning to go to Bonnaroo for the last two years. (Since our first time at Bonnaroo in 2005)Unfortunately she tore her ACL and just had knee surgery, so I'm frantically searching for someone to drive down with. I live in Northern NJ, a few miles over the GWB. ~Laura

Hey- I’m driving from NYC down to Philly on Wednesday early afternoon. Meeting 6 friends in Philly for the drive down in an RV. Happy to help if you don’t mind a slightly overcrowded RV for the ride down. This will be our 3rd year to Bonnaroo in an RV and (knock on wood), no problems yet. As we have done in the past, our plan is to leave Wednesday night and whoever wakes up first on Monday morning gets behind the wheel to get us out of there. We also found a back entrance into the farm that only takes 2-3 in line (the first year we sat in line for 12+ hours so we did some research). Drop me a line if you’re interested – martybreheny@yahoo.com

Hey everyone. I had plans to go to Bonaroo w/ my friend and his family. However, his grandmother is getting brain surgery during the fest ,and they are now not going. I have a station wagon, and can take a few people down. If anyone has any open room in their ride ,I can throw down for gas and such. I can pick people up along my way in parts of NY, NJ, etc. Email me at paradigmshift@progrock.com or IM me at funkkdafied420 if you are interested. Please check this map to see how close you are to my route. Thanks. www.mapquest.com/directions/main.adp?go=1&do=nw&rmm=1&un=m&cl=EN&qq=hltF3hzNT9tNhURP0HLlhh9UYBmHRqyBceg4Gkon14D8u ewLk7pjHQ%253d%253d&ct=NA&rsres=1&1y=US&1ffi=&1l=&1g=&1pl=&1v=&1n=&1pn=&1a=&1c=trumbull&1s=ct&1z=&2y=US&2ffi=&2l=&2g=&2pl =&2v=&2n=&2pn=&2a=&2c=manchester&2s=tn&2z=&r=f
