I will say that a part of me was hoping that U2 would fall through or something. The chance to see them in that setting is one of the only things holding me to Roo instead of doing a different camping festival like Eaux Claires or Wayhome. If Roo manages to book 2 or 3 really exciting undercard acts that I'm not able to see anywhere else (ATCQ, Grizzly Bear, Iggy Pop, an Atomic Bomb!-type thing that nobody's expecting, etc.) I'll have to give in, but otherwise I'm very torn and might just end up bailing
I had a crazy dream last night that U2 did fall through along with the chili peppers so the top 4 ended up being Paul McCartney/ Muse/ The Weeknd/ Chance with a solid undercard. Also Gov Ball had the top line of Jay Z/ Tool/ LCD Soundsystem/ Lorde. This was all found out after a super dangerous mission (where some lost lives) to hack the livenation plans.

You don't think you'll be able to see Grizzly Bear anywhere else?

I just don't know what their touring will look like and they're near the top of my list for next year. Definitely a much higher chance than the others I named.

Honestly the headliners, The xx, The Avalanches, hopefully PJ Harvey, with some solid buzz acts in the undercard are enough to get me there. Plus I will definitely be staying that extra day for Sigur Ros.

Certainly appears to be a return to form. Let's hope they've made some adjustments (reversals) to late night for the better too.
The next two weeks are going to be a lot of fun. The speculation that is going to happen after the Coachella release and in the day or two after Shakey Knees drops is going to be great. I agree with some of the others though. Looks like there is room to be positive.
Being home for the holidays has meant I've had a lot of time to kill I'd like to throw in a couple more shitty artists to get rid of some of the conflicts, so give me some names that seem possible/likely
EDIT: I also realized I didn't put any metal artists on there, and don't really know who they might book. Are Deafheaven due for a repeat? Who would be paired with them for a LN tent?

Deafheaven would be disappointing. Too recent a repeat. If I had to guess, based on who are playing the stateside metal fests in May, I suspect some combination of Dillinger Escape Plan, Gojira, Amon Amarth, or Opeth. Ghost is one of those bands that, like Foo Fighters, are almost certain to happen eventually so they're always in the mix.

How dare you.
I mean didn't Deafheaven perform in front of like 200 people? At least give them a chance to have a bigger crowd this time.

That is a lovely What stage lineup on Friday. I'd just hang out there all day.

Nice line-up.
A little....too nice.
Definitely optimistic. I just made some edits adding in some metal, moving Big Gigantic to daytime Which (GRiZ spot), and some other stuff. And I'm really hoping they start bringing back longer set times.

Eaux Claires moving their dates to the weekend after Bonnaroo makes the decision easy for me. Bonnaroo would have to knock it out of the park with their lineup for me to burn a week's vacation to head back to Tennessee instead to go to a solid lineup 90 minutes away
