Well The xx probably aren't happening, and I can't imagine that after The Shins specifically said they're delaying their album release until the spring because of festivals that they skip every major spring festival, so I feel like we should expect them

See, I think The Shins are basically a lock for SK, guess we shall find out soon enough
I can forgive Bonnaroo for missing on sigur ros. But I can't forgive them for missing on sigur ros and the xx. So I'm going to assume they did the right thing until proven otherwise on Wednesday. Just get Jamie XX on the farm. I need a kalliope or silent disco set.

Were you not there for his 2015 set? It was one of the year's highlights

I was there. That's why I want him back. Such a fun set.

I want The Shins a lot, paired with Lorde in the top 10 that would be an ideal Roo for me. But fwiw I'm pretty sure the only thing about festivals they mentioned was specifically Coachella. I was surprised when they didn't show up on the lineup. The Shins are also headlining the new AC Ent fest so that may make them a lil more likely. If we lose Phoenix, The xx, and The Shins to SK and just get The Lumineers I'll be a lil salty.

Ahh, damn, I might be tempted to spend the money on the show if I got to see Liam and U2. Lol at Florida just always sucking and getting one republic. Hometown pride!!!
Just looked at ticket prices for the U2 tour, $35-$280 with most tickets in the lower bowl/floor area being $200+. I have a feeling you might see a lot of people just end up settling on Roo for a whole weekend instead of 1 U2 ticket for a headlining show. Also, doesn't look to be any other middle America dates outside of Chicago.

If King Crimson played would they headline? How possible are they?
Zero percent chance King Crimson would play Bonnaroo. I don't even think they play festivals. I get the impression Fripp wants a lot of control over his art, so why play a festival when you can play in the venue you want and sell them out no problem? Unfortunately I think King Crimson is one of those bands I'll never get the chance to see live, unless I get on a plane.
Panorama just announced - Frank Ocean, NIN, Tame Impala, Solange, A Tribe Called Quest, Justice, Nico Jaar, Spoon, Belle & Sebastian, DJ Shadow...pretty dope lineup.
Frank Ocean, Solange, Tame Impala, Alt-J, Nine Inch Nails, ATCQ is a great top six. Alt-J I don't care much for but other than that I'd be interested in catching all the rest. From what I know of the undercard it looks good too.
Strawman your source was right about Tame Impala at Panorama and Lorde at Governors Ball, which means there's still a sliver of hope for The xx at Roo.
My girlfriend is getting The xx tix for stage ae. I'm going to Sunday of Panorama. Between that, Roo, Dead & Co right after Roo, Roger Waters, local shows, and Green Day, I'll have everything I wanted concert wise this year.
Pano lineup is nice, but a bit bummed they didn't book as much great electronic stuff as last year. Kinda hope Solange and Frank Ocean end up playing P4K.
