On U2's website they have a date Saturday June 11th. June 11 is actually a Sunday. Didn't someone say U2 was playing Sunday or is that still up in the air?
Wed. June 7 Pittsburgh, PA Heinz Field Sat. June 11 Miami, FL Hard Rock Stadium Wed. June 14 Tampa, FL Raymond James Stadium Sun. June 18 Philadelphia, PA Lincoln Financial Field
U2 - RHCP - the Weeknd - Chance the Rapper Lorde - Martin Garrix - the Lumineers - Wiz Khalifa Weezer - the Shins - Kid Cudi - MGMT - Cage the Elephant Umphreys McGee (late night) - OneRepublic - Marshmello - Grouplove - DJ Khaled The Avalanches - Schoolboy Q - the Head and the Heart - Lil Uzi Vert - Glass Animals

that would be one of the worst large multi-genre festival lineups of all time.

We are not getting Lumineers and Wiz from Okee or Weezer and Cage from Forecastle. I mean there is the possibility you are right. I just think we won't be taking that much of the top acts from other fests in the SE

My guess is the Saturday part is the typo. They don't have any back to backs.
My guess: Pittsburgh on Wednesday Bonnaroo on Friday Miami on Sunday

Cage the Elephant was an answer to one of the clues this weekend. Bonnaroo and Forecastle usually share at least a few pretty boring acts. As for the Lumineers, they're opening for U2 during pretty much the entire of their U.S. run, including immediately before Bonnaroo. Wiz Khalifa, that's just a very educated guess based upon him being at GB and those C3 interns showing up here a couple months back. Oh, and there was a ton of high-level crossover between Okee and Bonnaroo last year.
Basically I just hope you are wrong about wiz and weezer

I can't imagine Umphrey's McGee being billed that in this scenario. I also highly doubt OneRepublic is there, I would think their blandness would be top 10 though, at least as far as cost of booking is concerned.

There's a lot of shit on there and nothing crazy exciting but I'd be there. U2 playing Joshua Tree in full is a big deal for me. I'd check probably check out out the bolded. Also add Big G in there.

I'll be pretty sad if Panorama was the only US fest to get Tribe since I always go to Lolla(since 2012) and this is the week before Lolla, maybe Roo goes back to booking throwback rap acts and surprises us on Wed. Maybe? Tribe would get me to the farm for at least a day.

What's the price of Booking U2 compared to the past few major acts Bonnaroo has gotten? That compared to the undercards of previous years should at least help with expectations a little.

Best Case:
U2 - Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Weeknd - Chance the Rapper the XX - Phoenix - Lorde - Martin Garrix - Alt-J - Modest Mouse - Lumineers - Flume Future - Cage the Elephant - The Shins - Hall and Oates - The Roots - Marshmello - Trey Anastasio Band - Rae Sremmurd

How much more is it to book U2 than say, Macca or Dead and CO?

Everyone here needs to stop worrying about how much headliners cost. The reasons for lineup decline are not that the good artists are too expensive. There are plenty of shitty, expensive artists and plenty of amazing inexpensive artists.

I think U2 and Paul are pretty comparable in terms of price tag. Both are easily more expensive than Dead & Co.
U2 post by Bonnaroo on Facebook. I wasn't too thrilled when I heard they would be headlining. But I have since changed my mind, really been getting into them lately.
I guess growing up in the south park era really warped my opinion of them.
