Roger Waters - Arcade Fire - Calvin Harris - Future
Not ideal but probably somewhere around that level of disappointment
I said earlier that if they get Roger I don't give a shit who the other 2 or 3 are. Add Arcade Fire and I'd be ecstatic. But as we're seeing, headliners aren't everything!
Still, I feel like there's a high possibility for AF or Radiohead next year and if Roo's dealings with Roger didn't completely fall through (,, any knowledge on this??) then I hope they make next year work as well. FWIW, he still hasn't made any announcement regarding his planned tour, so if it does end up happening one would assume at this point it'd definitely last into 2017
Foo Fighters - Arcade Fire - Skrillex - Twenty One Pilots
It's not the lineup I want, but it's what I see us getting.
I dunno about the Foo Fighters but the Twenty One Pilots one actually makes a lot of sense. They aren't doing a lot of touring this coming year since they've been touring heavy and their music is at a fever pitch when it comes to radio (they have like 3 different songs in rotation on Alt Nation on Sirius XM). They are probably primed to come out with new music and what not too.

Huh? They're touring heavily from February through August this year. Not to mention they released an album and toured extensively in 2015. I don't think they're very likely to return in 2017.

I stand corrected. I didn't realize they were coming back to the states to do that many shows until I just looked up their schedule. You're right. Highly unlikely.

I was hoping 2016 would be the year, but I am now holding out hope that 2017 may bring us The Gorillaz. Also, with The Killers working on a new album to be released this year, I would love to see them on the Farm

The Cure // Arcade Fire // Gorillaz Lorde // Fleet Foxes // Pretty Lights // The National // Sigur Rós String Cheese Incident // Chance the Rapper & the Social Experiment St. Vincent // Porter Robinson // Foals // Grizzly Bear // NERO // Kygo TLC // Vic Mensa // FKA twigs // Umphrey's McGee // Charli XCX Local Natives // Lupe Fiasco // Devendra Banhart // The Disco Biscuits
I think Vic is gonna get a lot more popular following his debut LP whenever it comes out, presumably this year. I've also never seen TLC in a mock and I thought that would be an awesome pick.

...have you looked at the lineups for the past two years? Zero chance the top two lines have The Cure, Arcade Fire, Gorillaz, Fleet Foxes, the National, and Sigur Ros.
well, yeah of course not. Lineup will probably be disappointing again. But, until then, I wanna dream about this one. Might as well be unrealistic while I can because it's a lot more fun
Disregarding the other names - if the Cure was ever going to happen, this would have been the year.
I feel like this is said every year.
Maybe so - but it's not every year that they are playing fests in the US in late spring and on the east coast the second week in June. Booking the Cure is clearly not a priority.
