So you're saying that he doesn't model himself after traits from contemporary hiphop culture?
Give me some examples of what you're talking about. What traits?
Braggadocio, clothing style, the promotion of his XO brand (similar to how some rappers shout out their label). Or the fact that r/hiphopheads and the KTT forum worship Abel at a level of the biggest rappers in the game.
If we can agree that hiphop is a culture, and that R&B and rap is placed under the umbrella term of urban music (whether justified or not), then y'all should see how "urban aesthetic" is not an unreasonable term to describe a component of The Weeknd's brand.
All I've gathered from the last page or so is that Juggs is a big ol' pussy.
I'm a true beta. I've never pushed, stomped, kicked, or spit on someone who shoved past me in the crowd at an RHCP show. I've never even stolen someone's hat!
But no seriously if U2 doesn't play any shows in NA next year besides Bonnaroo I will 100% delete my account and never return. All I ask is that Launchpad and that other guy agree to do the same if/when I'm right. Also that Launchpad go back to that bar in Philly so the bouncer can slug him in the eye or neck.

Do you always bring up unrelated shit when you're wrong or?
You weren't around for the non-ironic "Hip Hop headliners bring bad people to Bonnaroo" discussions. Those were a doozy.
"undesirables"
All in favor of redefining "undesirables" as the excess-disposable-income crowd who confuse partying with art/culture, and thereby ruin it for others with behavior such as pushing forward and shout-talking over your favorite song?
Well, you seem to think that the festival is priced the way it is not simply in response to the general festival economy, but as part of some overarching plan to keep the "sketchy" fans of certain artists away. Makes sense. That must be why Bonnaroo jumped ticket prices last year when they had Kendrick perform, but why Coachella stayed the same when they had Drake. I get it now, it's so simple. NOT RACIST AT ALL.
The crowd draw definitely has something to do with price you cannot deny that. I was not intending this to be the sole reason I think the price is high
