So what's the likelihood of Chris Rock coming this year?
As much as I would like to see him one day, I go to Bonnaroo for the music first and foremost. If he is in the comedy tent id be pissed, him taking money from the undercard would be discouraging, and if he was on the What I would probably miss it for tunes, and because he would go on before RHCP at best, and The Weeknd at worst.
And after hearing Stephem Jenkins murder Ring of Fire last year, I can't imagine Live is much worse.
Those are gimmicks, not bands. Live actually tries, but fails miserably. They owe their existence to shitty rock radio across America, and ironically they suck "live".
I did this before Coach/Gov Ball, so let me know what adjustments you think those warrant
That's not that far off from the mock that I made that was "impossibly optimistic." I just took some home run swings on a undercard trio of Beck-Tribe-The National that you substituted for the more general consensus Lorde-The XX-MGMT.
Either way, this would be good enough where I don't regret buying presale. I'm excited.

I saw them 12-13 yr. ago. They were pretty good. But I've always liked them. Well until V came out.

Yeah but he could be a #2, because they blew most of their money on Tool(not like that's a bad thing), but you can see a drop off at that top line. Hell Phoenix would still be Bud Light headliner at Lolla which is (5-8 slot), and they're 3 here? Above Lorde? Idk about that. Gambino is high here too, but once again at Lolla he would be (5-8). Chance shouldn't be #2 yet, but I'm sure some would disagree.

#2 at Gov Ball and #4 at Hangout, he won't be any lower than 4 at Bonnaroo.
I'm generally not a big fan of Wiz but I overheard his Which stage set in 2014 either right before or after the Avetts went on, and it sounded like a pretty fun time.
Honestly seeing Wiz instead of just skipping it all together to have a decent spot for Elton John is my biggest Bonnaroo regret. I guess his performance wasn't "bad" it's just his songs are so corny and awful. The crowd was also pretty obnoxious. I only went because of my friend.

Holy shit, I hope Air ends up on the Bonnaroo lineup, that would definitely seal the deal for me!!!
Also, I'm surprised that more people aren't putting The Flaming Lips on their mocks... They're about to drop a new album & haven't been to Roo since 2014

Not sure if it was discussed when the screenshot was posted earlier. But I would assume with the early time of the announcement we will just get a poster instead of some drawn out announcement.
all of the living members: RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon the Chef, U-God, Ghostface Killah, and I think Cappadonna and Masta Killa both tour with them as well.

After seeing that neither Chella or GB got Alt-J....chances are that Alt-J coming out with a new album and then touring so soon was false.

The Flaming Lips have a Nashville date in late March so that would probably rule them out.
