I don't expect it to be crazy packed. Depends on scheduling, obviously, but without an album out right now all the hype is on Claypool name recognition and he can be pretty polarizing. Either you love him or not, and he can be on the too-weird side for many people.
Is anyone NOT expecting this one to be extremely packed? I think this may draw a bigger crowd then Cake did two years ago.
Like the others, I actually expect this show to be moderately to under attended. I think it will be a great show, but it just doesn't hit the demo Bonnaroo appears to be going for now.

For what it's worth, just over 1000 ads on the website, most of the names around them are in the 1500ish to 3000ish range right now. 'Claypool' might be a polarizing name, though the name 'Lennon' will probably draw some in. The show will probably be a little on the light side. Hoping they are up against Mackerel More to draw people away.

When considering the crowd size for Claypool/Lennon, the only factor that makes me think it could be crowded is Dead & Co. Dead & Co. will bring a crowd to the farm that recognizes Claypool's name and would be excited for this show.
I see this as being a standard tent crowd, full but not dangerously so. I keep picturing it as a That Tent sunset set, but would be 100% OK with a LN tent set, especially now that I know it won't conflict with Ween.

A LN set would be the weirdness I'm looking for, especially after hearing that first single release. Give me something besides the shitty edm offerings.

With saturday being pretty weak (opinion) I could actually see this show being well attended. Especially if its given a some what conflict free slot. I think scheduling will play a big factor on crowd size for this one.
Also, I can't wait for this show. Gimme all that Claypool weirdness.

He might not even be the weirdest of the two. Check out Lennon's project with the Deerhoof drummer called Mystikal Weapons. Its excellent and made me realize (much like Kim Deal in the Pixies) their drummer is the person who is behind creating the music I really enjoy from the band.

I'll echo this. I'm not a real fan of any of the Saturday EDM acts, so giving this a Saturday LN spot would be perfect for me and my friends. I'd also be happy if all the rave kids were elsewhere, letting us get comfortably underneath the tent!

While my optimistic side would love to see this literally anywhere else, Im resigning myself to the fact that this could very well conflict with the Superjam. Meaning that because of Les and D'Angelo, I'd be 0 for 2 on Superjams so far. So that'd suck.
Although just based on the audience Bonnaroos more recent lineups seem to be catering to, I could see myself getting a pretty good spot for this one with minimal effort. Silver linings!
Can we just take a moment to appreciate that their website literally just consists of the phrases "Album Coming Soon", "Bonnaroo 2016", and links to their single and rolling stone article?

If the Superjam concept is as uninspired as last year's it would be cool to catch Claypool LN instead.
