Of course anything can happen with the scheduling, non of what anyone says on here really matters, it's purely off speculation.
Plus, even when the schedule is officially released, there will be changes to it all the way up to the fest. So they might not overlap at first and then things get shifted and might overlap. Or vice versa.
So is there like an actual reason Bonnaroo tends to book a lot of the hip hop and electronic acts in the Other Tent, and a lot of the world music/Bluegrass is always in That Tent? I've just noticed Bonnaroo has certain trends for their tents but does it really make much of a difference? I know That Tent is bigger than the Other Tent but a lot of times they'll put the least popular acts in That Tent and overcrowd the Other Tent. Like if you started putting the Bluegrass Superjam or Metal in the Other Tent would that just fuck everything up?

That Tent is pretty much just bluegrass on Sundays. The Other Tent used to be the hip-hop/EDM tent, at least it was for a few years, but 2015 seemed to buck that trend with Rustie, ODESZA, G-Eazy, and others in This or That Tent.
If they would just take Kamasi and move him to Saturday LN...
I'm guessing he'll be in the Superjam. His tour dates list June 10 and 11, which could definitely just be a technical mistake, but I'm guessing/hoping it's because he'll have something going on on Saturday as well.

I hope kamasi is involved with the superjam. Would be a good indicator it won't be an EDM focused superjam. Not hating, just want to do something different after two years of DJ curated superjams.
I was watching clips from the Oates superjam on youtube this weekend. I know it was just a big cover song party but goddamn was that a great time. Love Train is up there on my great roo moments list.

Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

The Roo website has updated web posts for piddly little things (Solar Stage, Academy in Planet Roo, Tevas), so I think you're right. They'll bundle these minor guys together for this week, and wait on the schedule. Just my guess.
Granted, all I care about is Friday, and there's just no way they can schedule that well.
Quick edit to add that all those minor posts say something along the lines of "check back soon for the schedule." That could mean Thursday, one week, two weeks, who knows. Probably at least by early May per usual.

I don't understand this. I'm not saying you're wrong or that I even disagree, but I always wonder like, why would Bonnaroo care about that? Just to keep more attention on their announcement?
Even if they don't release the schedule this week, I doubt it has anything to do with Sasquatch.
yep, they'll release it when it is ready(ish).
Makes sense for them not to announce it during something like Coachella, which gets huge press, but I don't think any other festival would affect the schedule announcement timing.

2013 and 2014 was first week of May. Last year was earlier but was probably too early with all of the tweaks that were made. So, my expectation is that they revert back to the first week of May.
