That late night walk through POD 3 is one of the magical moments of the weekend!
Be sure to stroll through Camp Inforoo and say "Hey!" at some point! We're in POD 3. Whether at Brunch or just anytime durin' the weekend. Just 'bout a guarantee some bodies will be hangin' 'round.
How do you know where you will be? Are is Camp Inforoo in Tent Only?
Doesn't pretty much everyone bring a hard copy of the schedule and map w them?? This doesn't seem out of the norm to me
Sign of a Tru 'Roo Pro is a schedule from home. I'm cheap though and just write down what shows I wanna see in a notebook. Cheers to y'all who come Thursday and get the most up to date schedule fer the rest of us!
No one has mentioned that they're only a dollar if you buy one at a time, though. Order two and they'll charge you $3. Which is still cheap.
And the $1 garlic grilled cheese I believe went up to $2 last year, but I could be crazy. And yes, to find the garlic grilled cheese eatery exit Centeroo through the arch and hang right. It's usually close to the POD 3 balloon on Shakedown Street. Maybe between the Miller Lite Bar and the POD balloon.
Its up a little further from the Miller Lite bar. I want to say there was a taco vendor in their little block? I know across the street was a bank of portos and a little area with picnic tables. It's right at an intersection, that much I'm sure of because if we passed the grilled cheese guys we had walked too far to get back to camp.

I forgot to mention something when I just read this again. I don't pay for the hard copy schedule. I usually download one from inforoo (I think it was 3post1jack1 last year, but could be wrong) that gets posted. I use the nice work printer and even hit it up two sided. If we had a laminator I would be super fancy, but I just print out a few copies to ensure they last the weekend. I am kinda hard on my cheats.

ushmel is actually the one who prepared the clashfinder, as well as keeping up with all of roo's changes right through Tuesday before roo. I just post about ushmel's clashfinder a lot.
I print the clashfinder then buy some of those laminating sheets from office depot. works very well.

I skipped last year but did you have to pay for a paper schedule last year? I usually just use the little book they give you when you go through the tollbooth.
Have I been missing out on a rad collectible all these years?

No they just gave them to you. I didn't use that though because they had just changed the schedule right before and the schedules in the books were incorrect, plus the books are a great souvenir that I didn't want to ruin. I am not sure where Dan'ROO got the you have to paid for schedule and just handwrites it instead.
Did I say somethin' 'bout payin' fer a schedule somewhere? I was drunk. I never paid fer a schedule at 'Roo. Though it wouldn't surprise me if they wanted to start chargin' fer those little booklets now seperate my just like with campin'.
The thing that I think gets under-mentioned in the whole Wednesday v Thursday thing is that it tends to be really hot and sweaty there. Arriving Wednesday evening allows you to set up in the cool of the evening instead of burning in the sun with your eyes stinging from the sweat pouring into them.
Then again, I'm an overweight northerner...
Same.
But seriously, I go on Wednesday not only because it's cooler out for set up, but also because I drive about 10 hours from Michigan. If I aimed for Thursday night, I'd have to spend money on a hotel for Wednesday night or leave at like midnight and drive through the night.
Edit: I'm also a nerd and bring my own copy of the schedule. And I laminate it. Haha.
is the app accurate schedule-wise for those of us who don't want to print it off?
I believe the app was up to date last year as of the Tuesday before 'Roo. But just like the web schedule it kept changin' quite a bit before the festival. And Internet service is spotty at best on The Farm.
Also I love arrivin' on Wednesday night so I can get one more night there! My third year was the first time ever arrivin' on Wednesday and it's always a blast! It only sucks now if you get stuck in the POD 1 Quarantine and are tryin' to get to Tent Only. Otherwise the atmosphere is great and it's awesome to get some time to set up camp and rest before the weekend really starts. And it gives you more time to hang out with friends and new neighbors.
