If someone is predicting a band they want going soon I will consider trades.
Moving down to pick up the foo fighters and a future draft pick is a solid option. Assuming your love for Grohl will get you to discard your best player available strategy, that is.

First of all, do I know you? Second, pay attention.
We were in the fantasy football league together for two years. I've been here a while so I know of your love for Grohl too.
I think the only real rule should be that it can't be a solo artist or a solo artist that performs under a band moniker (like Iron and Wine). Solo artists could be a whole separate draft if this ends up being fun.
I think they should count as a band as both Meg and Jack were involved in the writing of the music. And even if we put them in the duo category they should still be eligible

There are a lot of great second tier choices here, and I feel like listing them all out so that I'll ruin all your "draft boards" (read: google, spotify, etc). I'm only getting one of these, though, so it's a tough choice. I'll make it in the next 20 minutes.

I think it's just a joke
Yes. It was a joke. Meg is is a performing member who contributed consistent creative influence.
I was just rustling Jackwagon's jimmies because I know how much he admires me.

Currently consulting with my scouting department. A few scouts are arguing for U2's massive appeal, while a lone voice argues for the warring Davies brothers band The Kinks, and a third is asking how we got to 24 bands without The Ramones being selected!
Also, my scouting department are all Mizzou grads and one of them said: "The guy who took Radiohead over the Stones would have caused me to rage quit in hopes of keeping my dignity intact." I explained that actually @fortyfive33 now is one of their own.
And I just fired a scout for making a too-impassioned argument for Dave Matthews.
