We are thrilled to announce the new home and dates for the 2016 Catskill Chill! Just 15 short miles from "old minglewood," New Minglewood is a magnificent private summer camp on a lake, featuring cabins, paved pathways, and all the amenities you've always loved about the Catskill Chill.
“New Minglewood felt like home the second we set foot on the campus," says Chill founder Dave Marzollo. “Ultimately, we appreciate what the Chillfam has grown to love and we want to continue to provide exactly that – an intimate experience which delivers big name acts up close and personal in a private environment where our ‘all love, all the time’ culture flourishes. We can’t wait to share it with the world.”
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Triple Post: Pretty sure that I'll be there. Thinking about buying Blind Faith tomorrow and hoping that my jam crew scores a cabin again (it's the plan to).

It just occurred to me that Campfire (lasted only one year) was in Lakewood. It was at a camp with cabins... same place?!?
Triple post back at you
Same spot-I just confirmed it
Sweet. Had my eye on that campfire fest but never went cause I'm not that into americana. The grounds look pretty awesome and its fairly close to me, count me in for blind faith tickets tomorrow!

..... ehem ...... I've been away for a bit. HOWEVER I am back and going to Catskill Chill! IDK if Inforooers' in the past had a group camp, but it was always fun to meet and camp at other festies. We are coming in 4 strong so far, and a lot more maybes.
I am so amped to dance the sun to bed and then back up 10 hours later!
Welcome back, pancake! I like the name I don't think there's ever been a strong enough Inforoo contingent at Chill for a Camp Inforoo, but then again, last year was my first! Can't wait!

I know it is a new location this year but do people bring kids to this? Would it be too difficult with a baby? Just found out my 10 year olds will be out of town for this week so debating trying to make this work or to head to Sterling the week before.

I saw a handful of children, including a baby or two, last year. I think it's reasonable to plan to do. I camped pretty close to the music last year and it still wasn't too loud or rowdy- so if you camped further away, I am sure it would be easy peasy!

Thanks. With the girls gone for the weekend, we would only have the baby. The girlfriend isn't sold on doing a fest yet and would probably want to find a babysitter if we do but trying to get as much info to try to pull this off as possible.

Picked up a ticket someone was selling on Facebook for $155. Still haven't gotten the OK from the GF or time off work. But at least I have a cheaper ticket in case I do.
I'm up for meeting anyone and everyone but I won't be socializing at TAUK's set as I'll be in a zone with the music. Otherwise I'm easy to find just look for the guy with a hat reprint hockey somehow with a nikon around the neck leaving photo pits 15 min into each set.
Note-if it is a backwards Blackhawks hat that my friend Andrew not me.
Quick Schedule look from Pollstar, the bands web sites and tour dates. Probably not 100% as Pollstar has been wrong but gives an idea. I've moved from 0% going to 10% when I got the ticket to about 50% after a preliminary convo with the girlfriend. We may have to leave early Sunday though which would suck as Sunday looks more stacked than past Sundays and would hate missing Pigeons.

I have to be in Philly on Wednesday, which I thought was a perfect conjunction with this fest. Still not a bad deal, but of course Philly, Lakewood, and Hartford are almost a perfect triangle. I will be packing up my car on Tuesday and trucking everything around for a few days. For this event last year, I was in DC, so Philly is the best case scenario!
