I wasn't going to campaign. I would have been okay with losing to CD or Jaz but I would really hate losing to Slack. Ya I get it he has the most popular band on Inforoo in Radiohead and this years buzz band, but if I lose to Metallica, Artic Monkeys, and Wilco I would be a little offended.

I'll give you credit that you did stay very close to your tastes. I probably could have matched that one to you out of all the entries given what I know about you.

I'm voting for Bacon because 1) his group is comprised of timeless talent, and 2) I can't give my final vote in good conscious to a draft that includes Metallica, the Arctic Monkeys, AND Snoozy Wilco - despite having LCD, Blur, and RH.

I voted Bacon. Only on Inforoo would Slack have even made it to the Final 4. You can like LCD all you want (I do), but he took them 45th overall!
Neither of these were in my top 4. I'm voting for slack because I like Radiohead, Metallica, Blur and Arctic Monkeys more than I like Beach Boys, Tom Petty and The Kinks. I'm not big on LCD or Wilco or Bruce Springsteen. CSNY and Staples singers are fine but not something that I listen to.
Radiohead and The Beach Boys are close for me, with the slight nod going to RH.
Metallica trounces Bruce for me. Yes, Metallica sucks now, but that wasn't always the case. Their early albums are fucking classics.
LCD blows Tom Petty out of the water too. I don't mind Tom Petty at all, but he just can't compare to LCD for me.
Arctic Monkeys? Swing and a miss, but hey, they can't all be winners. The Kinks take that round.
Blur wins over The Staple Singers for me. I'm not into soul/R&B, so they do nothing for me.
Wilco very clearly loses to CSN&Y.
My vote is for Slack.

I went through the exact same reasoning for my vote for slack. Only difference is I had LCD and Petty more or less tied and Arctic Monkeys being a somewhat close loss.
