General Info Members: James Murphy sings during live performances, on the records records 95%~ of the music himself.Other members of the band contribute occasionally to albums. People in the live band include Nancy Whang (vocals, keyboard, synth), Pat Mahoney (drums, percussion, vocals), and Tyler Pope (bass). The live band is much larger than a four person group, and regularly includes more musicians.
Biography: LCD Soundsystem is a dance-rock band from New York, founded in 2002. The band grew from obscurity playing small club shows to worldwide recognition, releasing 3 well received albums along the way. Just as their profile was reaching new heights, front man James Murphy decided to break up to group to focus on other areas of his life. All this changes in 2016, with the band getting back together to record new music, presumably tour, and play a bunch of festivals, including Bonnaroo 2016.

Physical Reaction/Live Show You'll dance yrself clean. In all seriousness, you'll have a lot of fun at this show even if your not familiar with LCD, if you are, you'll have an even better time. Their music is catchy as hell and fun to dance to. If you get confused, listen to the music play.
Interesting Facts They released a Christmas song on December 24, 2015. The release came out of nowhere, while rumors had been circulating for months about a reunion, this thing confirmed it all.
Personal Notes Very excited to see LCD, I first started listening to them a few years ago back after they broke off and wrote off seeing them in concert as something I was too late to see, but am overjoyed at this reunion coming to Bonnaroo, easily my second most anticipated show this year after the Dead.
