Time to get planning for Camp Inforoo! ***We can still use help in the Wed night land grab, check out pg 3 of this thread.***
What is Camp Inforoo? It is the best place to camp in all of Bonnaroo. It’s one big communal group campsite that we've been doing for 11 years.
Where is Camp Inforoo? It’s in tent only, right about... there. Yeah, it's right across from the Arch, best campsite in the joint, you can see What Stage from your tent.
Can I come? Yes.
Do I have to RSVP? No, but you are welcome to let us know in this thread that you’re coming.
Can you save me a spot? Not really, but we always find room.
What can I bring? Your wonderful self, tables, booze, shade tents, chairs, *hammocks*, food, coolers, friends, a chill attitude, whatever you can share.
How can I find it? Once I come in sometime Thurs morning, I'll set up the baby flags; on a 16 ft. flagpole, you can see it all the way from the Arch. It really isn't hard to find, just go to the upper right hand corner of Camp Thunderlips, right across from the Arch. To find the Camp before Thurs morning, there is a GroupMe set up, but in the past it has gotten oversubscribed, so please only join if you think you'll get there early. If all else fails, go to the general location shown on the map above and yell "Corn Cat" and listen for "Nom Nom Nom", seriously, trust me, it will work.
I'm just a lurker, I've never been to 'roo before, I'm not good at talking to people, I've got a weird haircut, it's the Wednesday before Bonnaroo and I have very bad taste in clothes. Are you sure it is OK for me to just show up? Yes, just stop dithering and join us already! You are going to hang with the bestest people in all of Bonnaroo, we were on TV and everything.

As long as they don't try and change the TO policy again me and my lady are in!
This year they've spelled out pretty clearly on the 'roo website that TO is going to be business as usual. Of course they might decide at the last minute that TO has to go to make room for Ultra Roll Like a VIP Luxury Cabana (seriously? cabanas?) Le Bon Oasis Glamping (glamping???, is that really a thing?).
The plan is to arrive Wednesday, but hopefully avoid the POD 1 Quarentine. Should everythin' pan out we will help as much as possible with the land grab, and of course help anyone with setup if they need it!
Are we really running a Naked 1K? Cause that'd be outstanding.
Actually, we're running the Naked 1K again. It's basically hijacking the regular "clothed" 'roo 5K in the middle of the race. Confused the snot out of the other runners. Three guesses who came up with this idea
BTW, just got back this afternoon from bombing around Costa Rica for 9 days. If you ever get the chance to go, DO IT! Amazing country, the most ecologically aware place I've ever been. Real wildlife, huge national parks, good food and the Costa Ricans are (justifiably) seriously proud of their country and are psyched to show it off.
You can count me in for Camp Inforoo this year. I plan on arriving Wednesday evening. I typically come in the East Enterencr and get put in Pod 2 or 9 and then would start the trek down to Tent Only.
I will, in all likelihood, be joining Camp Inforoo (finally) again this year. More than likely I'll be rolling in pre-Brunch Friday morning from Nashville, but I should be pretty lightly packed.
I am planning on being part of (or close to) Camp Inforoo. I will be arriving Wednesday evening via Greyhound. If someone could meet me at the Waffle House, I'd be more than happy to assist with setting up and staking out real estate in Tent Only. May have a little bit of corn to share for the trouble (depending on if the corn wagon comes by before then). If not that, I will have some booze to share.

I'm flying in Wednesday, then I gotta find a way from the Nashville airport out to Manchester... any suggestions? I am down to pitch in cash, beer, or booze (your call). I land at the airport about 4pm on Wed the 8th of June.

Worst case scenario, a Greyhound leaves Nashville at 5:20 PM from Nashville, arriving at Manchester at 6:40. Fare is only 11 bucks. You can chill at the Waffle House until the gates open.

If Leo can ship it to me I'll handle it Wednesday night or maybe I'll make something that says "CAMP INFOROO" out of old teeshirts. I'll need to figure out a flag pole though. Maybe my brother or dad can get some PVC pipe.

Wednesday night is great pandemonium, people chilling and people getting set up. Friday morning brunch is where it's really at, everyone who is awake is thrilled to be there.
I am a bit concerned we may not have the numbers to.hold down camp this year. I will be in the area, but not sure if I will be able to get in early with my press band. I should know this up coming week.
I will be arriving on Wednesday evening. Greyhound will arrive in Manchester around 6:40 or so. I'll be schlepping my stuff to the tollgate and then to tent only as soon as it is close enough to when the gates open at 8 pm. I will help hold real estate as soon as I can drag my ass there.
